Bought these because I had a piece of steel burn through my boot. Once I started wearing them, I never had that issue since. They're easy to slap on, practically immune to hot raining hell, & they're good value for the price. After a month of wear & tear, the Velcro wears out & they start to slide off your legs, and the little elastic things that hold them to the boot burnt off a while ago, but they've long since worked off their monetary value. Would recommend only if you do Welding that doesn't produce Slag.

I bought these to keep weeds off my shoes and socks while weed whack. For years I've been picking foxtails and star thistles out of my socks and shoes, not to mention the extreme discomfort that comes from working 3 to 4 hours with sharp pointy weeds poking into your feet the whole time. Used these once and am sold! Cut weeds for 4 hours and not a single foxtail in my laces or socks. YES!!!

These exceeded my expectations based on price. They are large enough to cover my workboots with ease. I would buy again. I believe I will get plenty of use from these. They are made from rather thick hide and should be tough enough for my work.

Used these to cover shoes for a Toy Story woody costume for the boots look worked great
