Let's Learn Hebrew Picture Dictionary

I bought this for myself to help increase my vocabulary as I take a Hebrew class. I am delighted with the variety of words, all presented in context. This would be great for children too.

A very informative detailed book, with easy to understand translations. The romanization, Hebrew script and their English counterparts provide a great overall understanding of the words. A great book.

I purchased the book to learn and to teach my son Hebrew. It’s a must have for anyone learning Hebrew.

A lot like the Usborne series: Various "scenes" are shown (inside the house, on the farm. All the items in the scene are displayed along the side of the picture,and labeled with the Hebrew spelling, the pronounciation and the English translation. In addition to the English-Hebrew Glossary and Index, there also is a really nice feature: a TRANSLITERATED Hebrew-English Glossary and Index, so if you are looking for words that begin with a particular Hebrew sound, you can look up the word (and page number) that way.

I am an advanced adult learner of Hebrew and a former teacher. This book is absolutely delightful. The pictures are bright and colorful and the Hebrew is both in Hebrew with vowels and transliterated. Adults and kids alike will love this useful book.

Excelent resource for vocabulary learning. Great for children and adults wanting to learn the language.

Ótimo pra ajudar na construção de vocabulário concreto por meio de imagens. O vocabulário é separado por tópicos ou áreas, por exemplo: na sala de aula, no dentista, no espaço, cores, números... Possui capa dura, o papel de impressão e acabamento são muito bons. As ilustrações são lindas. Ao final ele tem dois índices remissivos de palavras, hebraico-ingles e ingles-hebraico. Isso facilita muito caso você precise procurar uma palavra específica. Mesmo se você não souber inglês, as imagens são auto explicativas. Ou você poderá utilizar um dicionário pt-ing. Ao final do livro tem um tópico que é sobre verbos, achei muito legal essa parte, pois ele demostra o infinitivo do verbo com a ação que ele representa por meio de uma imagem. Isso auxilia muito na memória.

Un bon livre avec du vocabulaire de base pour découvrir l'hébreu moderne. Ce livre est un vocabulaire illustré il permet donc de découvrir des termes de la vie courante. A noter que ce livre est en hébreu/anglais
