Worked great for replacing the door panel clips on my 2005 Jeep LJ. Easy to install and replace the old brittle ones that broke when I removed the panel. Same thickness as the OEM ones they replaced and should hold tight for years to come. With the bonus removal tool, it makes these a great value for the money!

I got the bag of retainer clips and I was surprised to see that it actually came with a panel popper. I didn't even realize that when I ordered it. Anyway, I popped all of the retainer clips out of my wife's 2010 Lexus RX350 engine covers and replaced them all with these clips. They work perfectly. I'm glad I finally have a bag of these in my toolbox now because it always seems like you break those things every time you have to remove a plastic panel. Great product that I would definitely buy again.

Nice to have tool with the package

My ancient Nissan hardbody needed new retainer clips as the old ones had become brittle and many were broken. This is a bag of 100, and even though a few are misshapen or poorly formed, almost all of them are usable. They are nearly an exact fit, though I think the shaft side that goes into the panel is a touch smaller, which hasn't been a problem. Door panels are now securely held and do not rattle or squeek like they used to. I haven't had to remove them yet, but the tool looks like it can help slide in and loosen any of the clips that are sticky and hard to remove.

Great product and price

So far these work infinitely better than a pack of cheap ones I had gotten before. Very solid slide fit into the mounting locations and extremely satisfying solid snap into the holes. They hold extremely well and time will tell how they hold up, but I am very hopeful. Using these on my Jeep Cherokee XJ. Will update if these end up not being as legit as they seem so far.

Just as a warning these are very brittle. They do work, but if you have to pop the door right back off because you forgot to plug something in be prepared for them to break or snap off. We used them on our van and a few broke in the process. But I used them again today working on our car and had several get stuck in the door itself, had to take the entire panel off and use vice grips to pull them back out. I'm pretty sure if I pulled the van panels back off I'd have to replace most of them. So just be aware, they do work, but maybe only once.

They are “almost short”. They don’t have the “ribs/ridges” that hold all along the stem. These are all or nothing. They won’t hold until they get to a certain depth. Most popped in fine but I had a little trouble getting the back corner to pop in. You really have to have the door panel perfectly aligned since there is no “extra length”, but that assures a good tight fit.
