UnibondAnti Mould Sealant Bathroom and Kitchen Cartridge - White

Redid the bathroom with this (and an everbuild extreme mastic gun, since plastic ones snap in my experience) and it worked really well. It's only been a month but no mould yet, when we moved in the old sealant was basically black and fraying, not up to the job at all. I have a very small bathroom though and did all around the bath, sink, and touched up some odd bits elsewhere all in an hour or so and the smell got to me after a bit, it's very strong and I'd advise not breathing it in too much - obvious to some, I'm sure, but I'm a bit dumb when it comes to that stuff sometimes! The smell will linger for a day or so, but I found this dried well and was a very nice whiteTip; if you have them, baby wipes are great for clean up, they'll get it off your bath (we have a metal kind, not plastic, so even more annoying to clean) and your fingers too

I used a clear sealant around the shower unit to stop leaks, but obviously it was the wrong type as after just a few years, there is mold growing on it and inside. It took ages to remove the old silicone. This was nice and easy to apply (if you have a good applicator gun and apply steady pressure), and when smoothed off just finished the appearance and look. My shower looks like new again. I like the look, I like the silence of not being nagged to get rid of the mold, I like the peace.I cant comment on how many years it will be before any bacterial growth gets on it, but will update the review when it does,

Very good at what it does. Said supplied by Amazon with Prime Delivery but seemed to come from 3rd party seller, not sure why.Easy to apply, just follow instructions and use as small a bead as needed. Smell really not too bad and after 24 hours gone completely. Be awre though that although skin may have formed the silicone itself could still be setting.

This review is for the sake of others like me, who have limited experience. Experts, please feel free to laugh.I've only used cheap sealants before, and I naïvely assumed that this would be just a little bit better. How wrong I was. There's no comparison.1) It's really sticky. Don't get it on your hands or you'll spend the rest of the day trying to get it off.2) It says "evolves acetic acid during cure". Too right it does. I was expecting a faint smell, but this is proper vinegar-up-your-nose stuff. Adequate ventilation is a must.3) It starts to set straight away. Good luck clearing up the mess if you're as sloppy with it as I am. You can't just wipe it away like the cheap stuff. The instructions say to use white spirit; heed that.I cannot mark it down for any of these, as my problems were entirely down to my expectations. It's really good stuff; I just wish I'd realised how good before I started, so I would have been better prepared.NB. The "25 year guarantee" is just a marketing gimmick. All they're offering to do is replace the product, which isn't a lot of use when a broken seal round the shower has flooded the kitchen.

Really great stuff! Bought to seal around our bath and kitchen sink, it did the job better than expected. It sets really quick so be ready to smooth it and wipe any excess off straight away. It took very well and hasn't started to peel or come off etc. It is quite potent so make sure you do it on a day where you can have the windows open for an hour or so, over all great stuff!

Excellent product much cheaper than buying in your day shops. Example in b&q it costs about £9 for same product. Delivery is a little slow. But product is genuine. Have used before and is a very versatile and high quality sealant. Used for my shower tray and lasts a long time. Very happy.

This Unibond Anti Mould Sealant was as described by the seller and I found it easy to apply. Thusfar no mould had built up and the sealant works well. Would recommend.
