Case Fit 2018/2017 iPad 9.7 5th / 6th Generation, Slim Lightweight Smart Shell Stand Cover with Translucent Frosted Back Protector Fit Apple iPad 9.7 Inch 2018/2017, Rose GOLD(Auto Wake/Sleep)

I’ll try make this as “nice/easy” to read as possible! I do also compare it with my previous case I had which is a soft TPU shell case as I’m still keeping that one for if I’m going to study in a cafe or something as it has pen holder built in and I didn’t want a pen holder for the hard shell case. Back story: I use my iPad a lot for my class notes and since lockdown, my previous case was good to take to college as it protected my iPad from shock and didn’t take up much room in my bag. However since I’m at home, I wanted a thinner case that wasn’t as bulky so I can use it with my iPad stand without having to take the case off. What I like: - It fits perfectly on my iPad 6 Generation. The cutouts for the camera, lightening port, etc, have no issues with them being out of place - Slim and lightweight. I have a stand that I use with my iPad and my soft TPU shell case was too thick for it to properly sit in the stand. This case though doesn’t make that an issue and I don’t have to remove it to use it with my stand! - The colour is lovely! I got the “Navy Blue” colour as I wanted the case to match my Logitech K380 keyboard. The colour of my iPad is gold and mixed with the colour of the plastic doesn’t make a “weird” colour which is always a bonus! - The magnets are strong for writing. When I want to write, I prefer my iPad at a angle which the magnets can support me writing on and also resting my hand on the screen without any issues. - The case feels sturdy. This is the 3rd iPad case I’ve owned, the first one being a clear hard shell one, second being a soft case one and this being my 3rd one. Comparing this to the clear hard shell case I had, this case feels a lot sturdier than my previous one. I no longer have that case to compare with but I noticed that this is a bit thicker than the previous one I had and it makes such a difference in terms of protecting my iPad while still being slim. - The case has a rise at the edges!! I use a screen protector however, I do love that extra security of the case having a bit of a rise to protect my screen even more!! I would prefer if: - The magnets or the fabric of the case were stronger for when I wanted to watch something. If I try to pause what I was watching, the magnets would separate and i would have to connect them again however, I don’t use my iPad that much to watch tv and if I do, I use my stand on my desk to do so. - The case is hard to remove off the iPad. It may just be that I’m very weak as I’m not the strongest person but it took my dad to remove the case ( as I wanted to see how easy it was to remove just incase I need to swap to my other case! ) - I would prefer the logo to not be visible on the case. I didn’t realise before I purchased but, I’m not that fussed as you can’t really notice it and it’s more of a personal preference. Overall: I definitely feel like this case will last a a good amount of time ( only time can tell! ) and fits the iPad well. Would prefer if the case was more stable when I want to watch tv but is stable if you want to write on the screen. Also if anyone is curious to where I got my background, there’s an app called “Unsplash” which is basically where photographers upload their photos, and it’s taken by “Andrew McElroy”.

This is an excellent cover. I am not someone who normally writes reviews, but this item is so good it deserves a recommendation. I think I was a bit dubious about the clear back when I ordered it. The back is rigid clear plastic and feels quite robust, but without adding much additional weight or thickness to the iPad. The cover has all the functionality that you would expect. It activates the iPad when you open it. There is a magnet in it which holds the cover in the folded position when you want to sit the iPad up. I cannot compare it to the genuine Apple version because I have never bought a cover from Apple. However, for my last tablet (a Samsung) I bought the official Samsung version. I mention this because this cover is easily as good as that cover and costs about half the price. So this cover is also excellent value for money. And of course, the range of designs is wonderful. So much better than the plain black I would have ended up buying from Apple. At this price I may end up getting several so that I can change the design to suit my mood. I have had this case for about a month now and there is nothing that has changed my initial impression of the quality of this item.

Colour wasn’t as I thought but other than that exactly as expected fits well , easy to put on and looks nice

June 2017 Great quality case, sleek and slim, rivals Apple's own cases, feels expensive and NO WARPING when charging for me. This is a lovely Ipad case. I am really pleased with it especially for the price ( under £10). I still would have paid full price for this item (£30) as it is very good quality. The case fits exactly as it should, tightly with all the holes and access port openings lined up precisely. The case feels much better quality than the price reflects. Sleek and slim and the magnets on the top cover work very well so when you close the cover the ipad goes into standby / sleep mode. You can use the front cover to prop up the ipad as a stand which I find helpful. Contrary to another reviewers experience, I have had no problems when charging using this cover. No warping at all for me. I am very pleased with this, the rose gold colour matches my ipad exactly and it feels a lovely quality. I have had Apple covers only for my Ipad in the past, and I have to say I actually think this rivals Apple cases for quality and definitely wins on price value.

Only one day use! Smart, slim, good value, iPad fits snugly into this case. I purchased the green cover, looks like a bluey green colour, not like the green in the picture.

Exactly what’s on the tin, good quality and hard wearing

This product seemed really good for the price and the magnetic case which automatically sleeps and wakes iPad works perfectly. However, I’ve only had it for just under 2 weeks and one of the corners has already cracked and broke off out of no where. I’ve only just noticed it, so I’m not sure when the small piece broke off nor I thought to look for warning signs of cracking because I wasn't expecting to have a crack this soon, maybe after a year or so, but this is disappointing. I don't take my iPad out much, I only use it for research and planning, and I always keep it in a safe section of my bag where nothing can hit against it. Therefore, I don't think it's very good quality with it breaking for no reason in less then 2 weeks 😑 How can I expect it to protect my iPad from even minor bumps/scratches if it broke this easily?? I’m not a clumsy person and I’ve never dropped and broke any of my products so I only brought this case to prevent from little scratches from rings, etc, so I wasn’t expecting much especially for the price but now a corner has broken, I expect it won’t be long before the case won’t be useable anymore.
