So Very Pleased... Want Specifics?
Dang this was a good deal!!I bought this soundbar for £59.99 because of the good reviews and because I've recently purchased a 40" Toshiba TV to replace one of those big box sets that was 15 years old. The TV was £175 and had great picture reviews but poor reviews for its sound.Knowing nothing about soundbars whatsoever I was initially worried that this didn't have a subwoofer box thing like some of the others do. But I needn't have worried. The soundbar box arrived, bigger than I expected. This product is slightly longer than my television is wide. In the box came only a little remote with batteries for it, the soundbar, and a few leaflets. One is a simple manual, the others are warranty/protection things. Note that there is no optical cable provided so if you aren't going to be using the Bluetooth function exclusively you will need one of your own.It was very simple to set up, all I did was plug in the power cord to the outlet, put the batteries in the remote, and my optical cable from the soundbar to the TV.The soundbar looks good (a textured black which matches its remote) and feels like quality. This means relatively nothing until you turn it on, at which point you will notice just how good this sounds.Using the Bluetooth function I have linked it to my phone and am playing my Spotify playlist as I type this. It sounds so amazing I felt compelled to come and leave a review. I have it on the "cinema" function as opposed to "voice" or "standard" as this sounds the best to me. These functions can be chosen via the buttons on the remote.I noticed that my SKY remote automatically connected to the soundbar somehow but I don't yet know how to ensure that the volume buttons ONLY control the soundbar and not the TV so for now there's a little competition between the two and I'm keeping the soundbar's remote to hand just in case, because this soundbar produces infinitely better sound than my TV and having both devices supplying sound at once is not nice.If I'm using the soundbar as a Bluetooth speaker and one of my kids turns on the TV, the soundbar automatically gives the TV priority and channels only the TV sound. This is annoying to me but useful at the same time. Does it make me regret my purchase? Absolutely not! Before buying this soundbar I was going to try to be content with my new TV (I'm frugal) but it honestly just was not cutting it. The 15-year-old TV had much better sound than the new one. But now with this soundbar, I truly feel like I've upgraded my whole living room and I only paid £235 in total. So if you need to improve your TV sound, or if you just want a really nice speaker to play your music, go for this one. Who knows how long it will still be available at such a low price.

LG soundbar LAS260B
Bought this sound bar as the speakers on our Hitachi 50HYT62U TV, were useless. We were having to turn the volume up to the maximum just to hear things. Looked at many sound bars, most have a bass unit. This sound bar does not, what you see is what you get. Had to purchase an audio cable, as the Hitachi does not have an optical port, so you need to use the headphone socket on the TV. As the TV is on a unit with its own bracket, purchased a further two items, a bracket that fixes onto the existing bracket and the bracket that you would wall mount the sound bar. These items allow the sound bar to hang just under the TV. (Not required if the sound bar is sitting on a unit)For the money we are delighted with the sound, we are now turning the volume down, our room is 17 x 17 so quite a large room. The sound bar has Bluetooth also. Very pleased with the performance. Some reviews claim that the sound bar switches off when you change the channel, this has not happened to us once. Also the sound bar switches its self onto standby if you forget to switch it off. Great price, great item.

A decent sound bar for the price.
This was easy to connect to my Sony TV but beware you will need an optical cable as none is supplied. Looks good. Sound options were a little disappointing - only three modes: standard, voice and cinema (no music). The cinema option provides tbe most dynamic sound with a slight surround effect. It's alot better than my old sound bar with a good range, but it's not top spec. It does give a decent depth of sound and the range frequency is fairly good. I found the bass lacking however, though this isn't a problem for me as my lounge is not that big. Bluetooth is activated from the handset as are the other options and I had no problem connecting my phone to the bar via Bluetooth. The LG app for android is useless and I couldn't get it to connect at all. Overall this is a decent soundbar for the price and I am happy with it, but if you are really fussy about excellent sound quality, full surround sound, or want to use it for music streaming, etc, then you might want to look elsewhere.

Great sound at a great price
Bought this as I wanted a reasonably powerful speaker set to connect up to my echo dot in our conservatory so I could have decent sound quality for music and as luck had it we had the wall space to mount a bluetooth soundbar rather than messing around with speakers on a shelf and aux cables, and at this price it was barely any more expensive than the alternative setup as well as being slimmer so better suited to wall mounting.I am very pleased with the sound quality and volume, obviously it lacks a sub woofer and I'm sure real audiophiles would find fault with it, but for general audio the 100 Watt output outshines any other speakers I looked at in a similar price bracket. As a casual listener I can't fault it, With the doors open between my conservatory and kitchen/lounge I can hear it clearly throughout, and that's only on relatively low volume. Bluetooth connectivity was also extremely quick and easy to set up for my Echo and phones, tablets etc.Only negatives are that it doesn't come with a wall mounting kit, which I had to purchase separately (It cannot be wall mounted just with screws, it requires a specific bracket to slot on to), and that the power cable is not especially long, so if you're wall mounting it as a standalone like I was and not alongside a TV setup, you might need an extension cable (luckily in my case the cable was just long enough to reach a nearby socket). Both of these things are very minor though and only relevant in specific setups, so for the majority of people will be of no consequenceOverall excellent sound for the price and I would highly recommend as both a budget friendly TV soundbar, and as a wall mountable (with the additional kit) speaker set for an echo or similar device
