But it's a cheap product and a great hack for cheap cameraes like my Canon Rebel t2i ...
I used it 2 times ( and worked fine) but then the wire inside the adaptor disconnected. I had to take it apart so solder it back together (that was easy). But it's a cheap product and a great hack for cheap cameraes like my Canon Rebel t2i / 550D.

Very good, perfect for off camera flash work
Very good, perfect for off camera flash work. They only thing that I would change is that they could do with a thread on the PC jack as the cable falls out very easy. Very good for the price though, I would recommend.

Cable not captive
The shoe worked as my new camera has not got a separate cable connector. The one on the side works, but does not have a screw thread for the captive nut. The problem is that coil cable can put a strain on the cable and pull it out.
