Do you really want to take the risk?
*** UPDATED - *Toxic* Ingredients - see below *** I bought this because although it's for 'baby' the product description says "Also ideal for adults with sensitive/delicate skin." I used it for the first time last night. What a horrible experience. It was like washing my hair in mud that sticks. It doesn't lather (well a little when first applied) and it is very difficult to spread through the scalp. I resisted the urge to use more (following some reviewers' advice) but I could NOT get it to rinse off. The rinsing water was clear but my hair was tacky like I'd dunked it in thick paste; I could not get my fingers through it. It felt disgusting. I thought maybe it transforms after drying. Nope. I had to then wash my hair in 'ordinary' shampoo (Head and Shoulders) twice and still I couldn't get rid of all of it. And all I can smell today is this dead sort of dirty smell. Head and Shoulders has a distinctive odour - not a trace of this meeting my nostrils. It certainly doesn't smell of calendula which gives off a sweet odour. It's not unpleasant when you sniff the bottle but the smell is pungent almost like something burning once the hair is dried. I'm a big fan of the calendula (marigold) plant. I've been using calendula ointment for cuts and so on for more than 40 years. Introduced to me by a homeopathic consultant, it's like a miracle cure. I've also used calendula shampoo in the past but I have never experienced anything like this. As a 'body wash' it may be ok. But I will never let this 'shampoo' touch my hair again. I shall keep it to try out on any skin problems and if there's anything to report (either way) I will update my review accordingly. UPDATE 01 JUN 2013 I've downgraded this to 1 star from 2 because I have since discovered that some of the ingredients are toxic. The Amazon US website is also selling it and some worrying reviews there (from January 2013) caused me to look into this. The reviewers refer to the 'EWG' (Environmental Working Group) giving this a rating of 5 and one reviewer says it contains carcinogens (which, as you will know, can cause cancer). I went to the EWG website but could only find a report for the 2009 formulation which confirms that at that time this was true. I looked at the list of ingredients on my tube and I find some of the toxic ingredients are still being used (Limonene, Linalool, Lactic Acid, Alcohol, Chondrus Crispus). I don't know the quantities of these ingredients that are in the product but I believe it is long-term and excessive use that should be avoided. I feel that bathing a baby every day may be taking a risk. As far as I'm concerned I will not now be using it at all. EDITED 11 MAR 2014 To remove the ranting :)

Strong Fragrance
Much stronger fragrance than I was expecting - I thought it would smell of Calendula but it smells more like Lavender. I tried a bit and it made my skin extremely itchy so I cannot use it at all. I do have very sensitive skin, hence my buying baby wash, but I would not have expected to be allergic to this product. Glad I bought it from Amazon so I could get a refund. Very disappointed, my search for the perfect body wash recommences!

Never again
After 7 months I can write my review. I've used this product every day since my baby was 1 month old. I always liked and used just this on her bath because of the natural ingredients. But after a while her skin started to be dry and red. At the beginning I didn't connect this with the product, I just thought her skin may be very delicate. So I just used natural oils to massage and to add in the water during the bath. But the problem became worse and worse until one day she wake up with a very bad eczema on her face, arms and chest. The skin was very dry, swollen, red. So the doctor said to stop to use this product. Once stopped everything gone in a few days. So what is the reason why my baby had this reaction I don't know, I am just sure I will never buy it again. Then if is not enough, now that I'm using another shampoo finally her hair looks clean and soft. Oh...and the price it's far less

Be careful about dryness and eczema
I have 2 years old toddler and since her birth we were using this shampoo. Until we have realised it flares my eczema. I was given her bath all the time but my doctor advised me to leave to my husband as my hands arms got really bad because of my eczema, and my husband started to give her bath. From that time he started to complain about his hands getting dry. And after i stopped giving her bath, my hands got so much better. I am really sorry as i have never thought it might be because of this shampoo as it is mentioned as it has really clean ingredients and everybody is so happy about it. Just wanted to share our experience, as there might be in the same situation with us.

Made cradle cap sooo bad
Every child is different but this make our babies cradle cap so bad. She had it when she was a young baby and then it more or less went. Used this for a few weeks instead of our usual stuff and her head was so bad. Thought it was my diet. Partner said change back shampoo. Did that and it totally cleared. I liked it but made the cradle cap come back and the eczema was a bit flared up too. Supposed to be really gentle but not for our baby.

Don't buy
My baby got really dry skin because of this shampoo. Problem lasted for a month until I saw a direct correlation to Bath time with this shampoo and skin getting worse. After just 1 week without it skin came back to normal.

Not a great experience
used on my toddler. It went into his eyes when rinsing out of his hair and he started screaming and shaking. Obviously it was Stinging his eyes. This has never happened with other baby products and he usually loves getting his hair washed! Won't be using again. Going back to the organic baby products that we normally use. And much cheaper than this!
