Good product, worth it
Prompt delivery, during this UK freezing temperatures, I decided to save money & heat.Great easy to use product, good quality, easy cut to size & install to back of radiators. Take time to cut slits for foil to slide over/around radiator brackets and a super snug fit is achieved reducing heat loss. Once fitted, the heat radiated back into room was instantly noted & rooms felt warmer. The radiators also seemed to give warmer heat generally but also when heating off, retained heat for longer.I only have a small house with 4 radiators to outside walls so the 5mtr pack was enough with plenty left over if needed at later redecorating requires. I also used some inside loft hatch to save heat in the insulated loft space & even that has improved heat temperature on hallway. A definate yes from me on this product as I needed to save heating costs, this is worth the money & will soon pay back for itself Im sure. I note some comment about sticky pads, I cut the product snugly into the radiator outer side & top ‘finisher panels’ and so didnt need to use sticky pads but they are supplied if needed & seem quite sticky. My revuew is honestly based on the ease of installing, good quality product & noticable difference in heat radiated back into rooms.

Easy to fit.
Easy to fix to radiators but I’m not sure they actually save much energy.

Boost the output of your radiator with this reflective silver foil.
One good way to boost the temperature of your house is actually quite a cheap option. Buy a pack of this silver padded material. Cut it into required sizs (which even I was able to do), and slide it down the back of your radiators. This allows heat from radiators to be reflected back into the room, and not just leeching away through the walls. no glueing required. Just cut to shape and slot in place. My wife told me that even an idot at DIY could do it, and I did manage it. I was left feeling very pleased with myself, and the end result does make a noticeable difference.

The actual insulation is good, the adhesive pads not
The insulation has reflective foil on both sides and it doesn't seem to have a right wrong side which is helpful. It cuts easily with sharp scissors. The adhesive pads provided are not up to the job - barely adhesive enough and as soon as the radiator heats up, the adhesive softens and cannot hold the insulation in place. I gave up using them. Fortunately, I had noticed the prompt that others had ordered 3M sticky pads with the insulation packs, and did the same. Excellent idea, and the ones suggested are seriously sticky and fully up to the job. I just cut each in half and got twice as many. And they GRIP! I suggest that Superfoil stopbothering with their own and just supply 3M ones. The simplicity of just cutting slits and hanging the insulation on the radiator brackets is good, and the insulation while very light is substantial enough to cope with this.. Watch out if you have brackets set out from the wall on wood battens. Makes measuring a bit trickier.Just be very careful with measuring. I did all measuring from one point: a mark on the top right of the radiator where the right edge of the insulation should come to. The insertion comes folded in half lengthwise. Do not rely on the edges being aligned along their length. I did a couple of times and then realised why I had crooked vertical cuts.I have no idea yet if the heat output into the room increases, I sense it might. The reviews are totally polarised: not it doesn't, yes it does, both with a lot of thermal transmission physics. But I just decided it might work, and if it did that's a good thing, and if it didn't it wasn't going to let more heat out!

Amazing
Wow this actually works! I have read contrasting opinions about the use of foil behind radiators so was unsure whether it would work. I am amazed that it really does work. The room warms up quickly and remains warm, dare I even say hotter than without the foil. So hot we are turning down the thermostat. It even means our hall stairs & landing is now warm rather than freezing cold which it was before as the thermostat is in the lounge so gets to temp sooner than the hall.It is easy to fit, although I agree the sticky pads are not that sticky. But I found the foil remained in place behind the radiator even though the pads did cone away from the wall. ( I did thoroughly clean the wall before applying them).I definitely recommend. It is not a waste of money.

Easy to use. Good value.
I've done 5 radiators with this. Easy to cut and use. There weren't enough sticky pads for all 5 radiators as I had 2 extra long ones. I had some from another purchase. So all done in about half an hour. Now to see if it works and keeps the place warmer
