My go to for wled projects - with high traffic network requirements that require Ethernet. Just be aware of which GPIO’s should NOT be used when using the Ethernet.

I got this controller because I wanted to DIY a cheap Christmas light show. I use this one for some room lights around my garage, and it works perfectly.

At least 50% of the batch of 4 I got do not seem to be either printed incorrectly or have bad components. The 5v pin doesn’t seem to power the soc and the 3.3v pin doesn’t seem to provide enough power to operate the Ethernet port. Maybe they intend for you to supply 5v and 3.3v but I bought some from a different maker 6 months ago that appear the same and that’s not the case. Sure these are cheap and you get what you pay for but something is fundamentally wrong with this batch.

Same WT32-ETH01 you'll find anywhere else. Got it up and running on my wired network using the WebServer_WT32_ETH01 Arduino library and the same FTDI serial programmer I use for ESP8266 boards. Note that it comes with the header pins pre-soldered upward as shown, which isn't very breadboard friendly, so make sure that will work for your application.

Using it to run WLED. Came without pins soldered. Flashed with WLED and worked out of the box (nothing extra to get ETH working other than selecting it in web interface).

This board will not work when using a power supply on 5v & Gnd. The red led will turn on but when connected via the io2 pin to data on led they will not power on. WiFi will not work either. If you attempt to flash it using the default pins the software will give an error regarding pin layout. Members on forums are all puzzled as to why it's not working.Second board I was sent didn't have any pins or any included in the packaging. Very disappointing experience so far.

I have programmed many controllers over the years. I have all the correct drivers for this, the adapter, etc....... I simply will throw a connection error during programming attempts. The seller shows a USELESS video (Horrible) I bought this back in Dec 2022 but just recently wanted to use it.

Serial port works, it's running code, but can't get it to download.Return window has closed.
