As described and this has really come into it's own when making Christmas cards and tags. It's an indispensable part of my stamping kit.

Must have for heat embossing
I've recently started heat embossing, but I wasn't getting very nice results and was wondering why my heat embossing powder was either blowing off the card with the heat tool or soaking into the paper no matter which powder I used or which heat tool (I have 3 different ones) I had realised I've been using an inferior embossing pad that wasn't juicy enough. I opted for this one as it seemed to be the best rated and all I can say is WOW! What a difference! I could tell straight away the difference in quality and I got perfect results instantly.

Its OK. Its an ink pad and it inks used for stamping then embossing with powder and heat tool. Does the job.

The best ink pad for embossing, highly recommended!
Versamark is the only product I will use for heat embossing, it is absolutely the most superior product on the market for embossing. I regualrly emboss full die cut shapes by dabbing them over the pad and coating in powder, usually they need two coats to take an even cover but that's down to the powder not the pad, and I craft daily, all day, the reason I mentioned this is that one of these pads even with heavy use lasts me about 9 months. It is also great for use with detail embossing powder and stamps with fine detail, and in particular with powders that have glitter in them as it sets them so it doesn't shed much. You could theoretically use it with glitter but it wouldn't set so it wouldnt stay in place. Also you can use it just as a stamp pad for a watermark effect or for shading if you want to add depth, ie to make things look like they are in the background or further away than the main decoration/feature. Love it and I won't use anything else, highly recommended.
