Its the lower end of the price range and feels quite cheap but works really well. There is one attachment for the beard trimmer grade 1 I think. Cuts well . The nose trimmer is also effective. The scissors and nail cutter are flimsy but sharp and the combs are of passable quality. I'm not sure how long this would last if it was my main beard trimmer but as a travel item its fit for purpose. Time and usage will define the ultimate value, but for £11 its not going to break the bank if it gets lost or broken whilst traveling. Remington seem a respectable company so I'm hoping for the best..... Having used this a few times it is very battery heavy. The battery supplied lasted less time than it took to trim my beard.

Remington Hygiene Travel Kit. Remington is a quality brand. Its products are well made and work. Things are simple yet very effective. I have a lot of body hair and when I need to go into hospital for a stay I trim all the hairs off my arms, parts of my chest and wherever it needs doing. This is so much better for attaching cannulas and ECG pads. Certainly tons better when it comes to removing them. beard and eyebrow trimming is also excellent. I certainly wouldn't be without mine now. Battery AA lasts for ages. Trimmer head changes to become a nasal hair trimmer. All in all a hairy bods essential tool kit. Well pleased with mine. The only fault is that if you keep it in a bathroom cabinet and let it fall into a porcelain washbasin it will break the the beard or eyebrow trimmer if you have left it fitted. That is operator error not a tool failure. trouble is you can't buy those small plastic parts separately

I've been using an NE3850 for about the past three months, to replace an older model which I'd had for years and that had had the motor burn out. The NE3850 did a decent enough job.Unfortunately, the impossibly tiny retaining pin holding the vertical head together has fallen out and I've been unable to find it. The motor still runs, and I can still use the rotary head without any problems - but the whole reason I had a trimmer in the first place was to attempt to tame my eyebrows, which the vertical head was ideal for. I'm having trouble finding replacement heads for sale anywhere, and I'd rather not buy *another* device so soon.Maybe I got a bad one, but I am hesitant to recommend this.

The last version of this lasted me over a decade of regular use and being humped around in a travel bag. It did not really die, it had an accident. The last one did come in a hard plastic case which may have helped longevity. This one is a good price and works very well, nice zipper case.

Great kit value for money in a nice case ideal for travel

its quite quiet, and runs well on the batteries for a long period. sadly, It doesn't cut hair near the root resulting in cutting more frequently. the worst thing is the on /off switch. you need to turn the base clockwise for it to work, anticlockwise to stop the motor. The trouble being, there is no stop to turning it off and the bottom keeps coming off every time you with it off. This is a real pain. I nearly lost the bottom of it after it fell off and rolled into some dark place. I wouldn't buy again.
