Yes good enclosure, this is the only one I have with the USB A male to USB A male, but works very well and will stop me mixing things up. Very easy to pop the HDD into and works straight away and did not drop out like a previous caddy I bought a few years back. Good product, good price a speedy delivery.

Well, the drive works so that's a positive!Not done a speed check but tbh it's just going to be used occasionally so in my scenario it is 'fit for purpose' (unless it breaks down), not too bothered about its speed.. I'll update the review if it does break but not expecting it to.Only 4 stars because it can be a bit awkward to open the unit, and get the drive onto the connectors even though it looks mighty easy. This may be an issue for someone who hands and fingers are not as dexterous as they used to be, but I coped.This hasn't put my off Sabrent enclosures and I may purchase the aluminum case for another drive that I have.

My laptop was becoming unbelievably slow to start, and even failing to start at all on occasions. I suspected a major problem, but a friend advised me to try an SSD drive and the results are amazing. Instant start-up and shutdown, where previously I was waiting for several minutes.

Very easy to install drive, no tools required, easy removal of drive, no tools required. Decent plastic quality design and easy to set up and use. Speeds are as expected with read/writes within acceptable parameters for SSD drive. No data transfer problems encountered. USB cable of good quality.

I wasn't sure this would take my tiny hard drive but I decided to take the risk. Firstly I couldn't get it open but had fast response from seller who helped me and offered to assist more if I still had problems. It was stiff at first but after levering it against the edge of a table I got it open. Followed instructions on enclosed sheet and my card fitted and it works great.
