Certainly would recommend for children who into electric stuff!I do advise though to mark all the items with sharpie, so don't have to rely on instruction as much.

The concept is great to quality of some components is poor. The ‘safe’ system for getting into the chemical tubes is very poor and the tool broke within 20 minutes.

Whilst I overlooked the part that assembly was required, I didn’t expect to have to actually build the components! And then for it not to work was heartbreaking for me and my niece, who was so excited having done electric circuits at the London science museum, and then seeing this kit in the gift shop.My husband does car electronics, and so far he can’t even get it to work - steer well clear of this if you want to encourage your kid to get into electronics and science!

It doesn't work. I managed to flick the light once and it was gone after few seconds. Parts don't lock very well together and once cable's plugged don't stick to the base

My son got this for Christmas so I spent most of the day assembling the fiddly components, only to find it doesn’t really work that well. A bit of wiggling might get the circuit to work but more often than not it just doesn’t work. I honestly cannot understand how this got past a testing stage and into production.

This product arrived with missing parts. I bought this as a gift for my son, unfortunately, it arrived without the black wires.

Really poor quality connections… you can’t have this with electronic circuits. The slightest thing and they don’t work. I thought this would be simpler for my son but it is just frustrating as it doesn’t work. The LED came on for a second and then wouldn’t work again. Avoid

My son got this for christmas from my brother who had electronics and chemistry sets when he was young and was inspired by them. My son was really keen at first which rarely happens with STEM toys but aftrr spending an hour or so doing the work the people in the factory should have done, the kit gradually delivered dissapointment after dissapointment as the circuits failed to work He lost interest and I presume has solidified the association of electronics with boredom in his mind. This feels like a big missed opportunity.
