this product is sturdy and a good quality. It fits neatly into the door lock and my elderly mother finds it very useful for helping her get out of the car. It has a range of other gadgets such as a flashing light, window breaker and seatbelt cutter. So it is not just a mobility aid, but it’s useful for any driver, very pleased with the product.

I was dubious as with most shopping Channel products. I'm in my mid 40s and disabled due to my back I'm getting in and out of the car is a massive ordeal for me. So I thought I would give it a try and I cannot believe how much this is helping me just to get in and out of cars, as different cars are used by different members of my family to take me to and from appointments. It fits steadily and gives a perfect great to aid you getting in or out. There is a torch if needed, they say fit in section but that will cut the seatbelt if you were trapped, and it will break the glass if you ever needed someone to get you out of the car in the emergency if the doors were locked. I thought it would be really heavy but it's actually really light. I've got my parents to buy one each now and I highly recommend this to anyone who needs help to get in or out of the car, it's fantastic.

Good quality effective aid, would recommend

I have a couple of elderly relatives that are unsteady on their feet. Saw this advertised on tv and thought it could be of assistance. So instead of purchasing via the tv deal I of course looked on Amazon and there it was, cheaper than advertised and with free P&P. My car is a Ford Fiesta, theirs is a VW Polo and this fits both. Has been tried out a couple of times and is certainly a handy piece of kit. Allowing just a little bit more independence is important to us all and this allows that. It is well made and light and sturdy and certainly works as advertised. It also has a torch, with the batteries fitted, a seatbelt cutter and could be used to break glass if need be. Although I never want to test those 2 items, but it's handy to know they are there. I would certainly recommend this for those who have elderly relatives, or those who need a little help.

This is a handy gadget to have in case of emergencies. It is a glass hammer, seat belt cutter, a tiny led two spot torch and a grab aid for the less able who find it difficult to enter and alight a car without some sort of support. The Drake off road is a clever idea that when put into action, acts as a hand rail when attached to the door anchor when the door is opened. It looks sturdy enough but I haven't had to use it yet, and I hope the time never comes, but it is in the glove box and offers me peace of mind. Would recommend on the safety aspects alone.

Seems robust and a good idea, however, it as a shame that it didn't fit my citreon & was not able to try it. The pin is about 2mm too thick to fit into the door catch. It could be filed down to fit but don't want to do that in case it weakens it and risk snapping when in use

Great tool to help when getting in and out of the car. Easy to use and easy to store in the car door pocket.

Mein Audi ist relativ tief und Oma hat immer das Problem mit dem Aussteigen. Der Griff ist klasse und passt perfekt in die Türöffnung. Ob der Gurtschneider was taug, kann ich noch nicht sagen und will es auch nicht ausprobieren. Die Lampe ist sehr hell und auch ein nettes Zubehör. Für den Ausstieg eine echte Hilft. Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung.

Tengo a mi padre con graves problemas de movilidad a la hora de poder entrar o salir del coche, y este soporte es una maravilla, es el segundo que compro (para otro familiar). Además el hecho de tener una hoja de corte para poder cortar el cinturón, o poder romper el cristal en caso de accidente lo hacer muy interesante. Lo recomiendo

Buenisimo, sobre todo para gente mayor. A mi marido le ayuda mucho como apoyo para salir del coche.
