Q: do these have ceramic tops and rubber seals?

They have rubber seals but I think the top might be plastic. In any case its a quality product.

Q: would it be ok to put in the freezer

No. They're liable break. Use straight sided containers approved for freezer use, and follow the directions as to leaving sufficient space for expansion. I believe Balls make several jars they say are suitable for freezing. Not sure whether Kilner do too, but these bottles are not.

Q: I bought few in september 2021. after a week in use 3 of the bottles just popped/cracked while sitting on the side table. can i please return them?

To be honest, I doubt you'll be able to, but again, you never know. Just contact Amazon and see what they say, but could be put of warranty or the return period. Best of luck.

Q: Heat resistant? I need to put boiling water to cool down

Bought these bottles for home brew, so needed to sterilise first with Boiling water; bottom off bottle came straight off as water went in Thank goodness it was in a sink, otherwise boiling water would have gone everywhere. Very disappointed that this heavy a glass bottle would break so easily with boiling water, considering how glass is made. Would like to know how to return item.
