artline White Marker For Fabric (1 Marker)

I bought this pen to write our surname on the outside of our suitcases so they were better identified on the collection belts at airports. I also wrote our address on the inside in case they got lost by the airline. I’ve also used it to write names in my children’s black school shoes. Just don’t forget to shake the pen before each use (you’ll here the ball bearing rattle like a tin of car paint etc.,) and press down gently on the nib of the pen (on a scrap of paper / cardboard etc) to soak the nib in the paint before you start to write on your item.

Fabulous colour on fabric, easy to use. Only problem was that when priming by shaking, if you've been using it for a while it can splatter, but it was only a few drops and I guess if I'd though it through, I'd have put the cap back on before shaking it again. Would definitely buy again.

I bought this to draw a design on a black pinafore dress I've made, and it worked perfectly, though I suggest drawing the design out with chalk before hand because once the pen is on its not coming off, although it dosent say it needs to be ironed on to set it before washing I did because i really didnt want to lose my design, It didn't even fade a little in the wash and I'm really happy with the pen, the only problem and the reason for the 4 stars is the fibre tip, It picks up the firbers and makes it a little hard to get detailed designed.

I have been looking for a suitable white fabric pen for literally years! Every other pen I've tried just bleeds through the fabric I use, or doesn't show up opaque enough without going over and over. I've tested this on linen, cotton and even thin nylon; and it shows up perfectly without bleeding! I just wish this pen was available in a smaller nib size for fine detail, but luckily the nib is removable and I've swapped it over with a pointed nib from another brand. It still works perfectly and I'm so thrilled to be able to offer white personalisation on my products now.

Really good, I use this with a black sharpie fabric marker to clean up edges. This marker feels like acrylic paint when it dries, but it doesn't wash out (leave to set for a couple days before washing). When used on black clothing, you'll need a few layers to build up how white it is, otherwise it'll just look gray and faded (which can be used for grading and shadows)

Initial phase to get the ink out was really tough. and the flow subsequently was not moving, thus the writing had to be done several times and still it was not very clear.
