Quick, effective & easy to use
Brilliant. I usually tweeze the little hairs on my upper lip, but it can be time consuming if I can't get good lighting etc. I really wanted a quick and efficient alternative that didn't involve booking into a salon. I had tried wax strips in the past and, twice, ended up with impetigo! I'm a clean freak and I'm extremely particular about cleaning the area well, before and after etc. which leads me to believe that the problem was with the product... but anyway, I'm all for the Epiwand. It's so quick, effective and easy to use. Yes, it hurts because it's pulling hairs out! But I believe over time we get used to that kind of thing. Definitely recommend these!

A must have beauty tool.
How come I never noticed how hairy my face was getting? With the advent of threading, friends kept bouncing up with remarkably smooth faces.. I didn’t fancy going to a salon for hair removal but my peach fuzz has begun to annoy me so I tried this dapper device. It takes a bit of getting used to and there is an art to the practice. You bend the wand so it is in a loop shape and run it over the face squeezing the loop in the direction of the hair growth. The coiled metal wand somehow grabs the hairs and pulls them out at the root.Yes, it does sound painful, and indeed it can be painful. It takes a lot of practice. But once mastered is effective and completely clears away hair from the entire face.Yes your skin will go red or be slightly swollen for a while afterwards, but this can also boost circulation and if done hygenically will give an after spa glow.I mention hygiene. If you do not have a clean face and hands and the wand is not sterilised (I use rubbing alcohol) there is a risk of turning your face into an infected blotchy mess. So keep it clean.I use witchhazel or a mild astringent toner on my face afterwards and have no problems.Only problem is it is addictive, I will quite happily sit through a film rolling this gadget about my face and end up as smooth as a dolphin.CAUTION: careful near eye area.. I once got a section of my eyelashes caught in this and that could have ended in disaster. In summary... yes it hurts. What is beauty without pain?

Quality none existent anymore
I have bought numerous epiwands over the years and gradually seen the quality dwindle sadly. It is now flimsy, less weighty, and the metal doesn’t grab the hairs like the epiwands did from years ago.An epiwand I bought less than a year ago has had its handle snapped off. Not built to last. The price point has remained at £10 for years. I can only imagine the quality has reduced to keep it at this price point. I would rather pay extra for a premium quality/durability for a product that actually works how it should. .I am returning mine and will continue to use my old one.

Good product but really hurts !
Bought this product to remove peach fuzz and it easily does with a little practice of technique. However for the love of god it hurts. I am used to regular eye brow, lip and occasional bikini line waxing but I just can’t tolerate doing this to myself. I even tried icing the area first, having a few gins or applying germaline first in the hope this would help but to no avail, so three stars but only cause it hurts sooooo much !

Brilliant little device - a must have!
After a particularly long salon experience left my staring at the hairy upper lip of my hairdresser, I became very self conscious about my own facial. Upon further inspect I noticed I actually had a little bit of a tache, most likely only visible because of my ghostly pale skin. After looking into waxing and hair removal creams I stumbled upon this little beauty. The first one I ordered was immediately claimed by my mam to deal with her hairy chin. However later that day the company sent my a 20% code which I then used to purchase my second wand. Brilliant customer service. This, like all methods of hair removal, is flawed. First of all it hurts. Chin and neck area isn't so bad but the upper lip is only for the brave among us. It also doesn't grab all the hairs in one area so you have to go over it several times to get a smooth feel. Sometimes hair breaks so you're left with a tiny wire of stubble that too short to epilate or pluck. However, this method is still a fairly good method of hair removal. It hurts less over time, after a few weeks you'll be used to the feel of it. Much more faster than plucking too. Once you get the hang of it, it's easier to grab more hairs. It's also very cost efficient. You won't have to buy any facial hair removal creams or wax strips. Think of this as an investment of a hairless future. 10/10 would recommend.
