Centinel Clutch Claw in car Security Device Pedal Lock (Standard)

The Clutch Claw is a strong deterrent to the heft of a vehicle. It is sturdy, well made and well thought out product locking the Clutch and Brake Pedal together and preventing any movement in either pedal. Relatively easy to fit and adjust for the first time and pops on and off very quickly. I suppose the ultimate test would be if someone decided to try and steal my Motorhome but it would take a fair bit of effort and work. Having a good working knowledge of theft of vehicles I researched what was available and looked at the pros and cons of different locks, trackers and immobilisers etc. Trackers are expensive to fit and most have subscriptions, I prefer a physical and visual deterrent and the Clutch Claw seemed the most suitable as a back up to the factory fitted immobiliser. In my opinion a very good additional bit of security, make it hard for the buggers!

Great piece of additional security for your land, rover or any car. Very easy to use. No issues with functionality. Absolutely awesome and much lighter than pedal box style security device even the little led light still works 🤯

This was easy enough to set up and once that is done it is quick and easy to fit and remove. It is also compact and takes little room. Once in place the clutch and brake pedals are locked together and cannot be depressed. It seems very sturdy and I would imagine that it would be very difficult to remove. The stickers and the flashing light make its presence obvious. I hope it is never tested but I can recommend this product.

after initial doubts I am using this full time. On my LHD 1975 Bay I find the bar rubs against the base of the steering column. The bar has a cut away for a RHD which would probably prevent this annoyance. The instructions are vague on how tight you should get it, and the fit will vary depending upon wear on your pedal rubbers. After only a few uses I managed to get one handed in operation. You cannot add enough security to your bus and this is a good clear deterent, and easier to use than a full pedal box.

Proper physical car security. Theives would think twice and move along when they see this installed. It's a bit fiddly to set up and install but once you get the hang of it it's straight forward. Does take a few minutes but worth it. I'm happy with it.

Seems sturdy and does what it claims which is to lock the pedals, the flashing light can be annoying in a motorhome at night when trying to sleep and cant be turned off, but easily covered with a bit of masking/electrical tape. I use it on a 2019 Ducato campervan and its fits no problem. Happy with purchase.

Arrived before advised date but a few problems with packaging (possibly caused by the courier); the LED unit had become dislodged and the window stickers were missing. Excellent customer service and new LED and window stickers being sent to me. This is a first class piece of kit which is much easier to fit than the instructions imply (also good fitting instructions on YouTube). My Land Rover Defender is now safe. Once set up the Clutch Claw is easily fitted or removed in seconds and can easily be re-set to transfer to another vehicle. Highly recommended for ANY vehicle.
