Pricey but good quality
Having worn out a leather wallet over the years I thought I’d look for something much slimmer and less of a faff; so here we are with the secrid. I opted for the silver finish, so the lever at the bottom is black. It’s very small in stature, to the point there is virtually no trouser bulge like a regular leather item. The finish is good, and I have yet to scratch it during use. There isn’t a great deal to go wrong with this, when using the lever the action is smooth and takes minimal effort to eject the cards. I like that it separates the cards on release, so you can pick out which you need rather than them all being at the same level. I comfortably carry a mix of 5 embossed and non-embossed cards without issue, obviously you can fit more if you go for flat cards. I read reviews on here for paying £20, and I’d suggest that the current price of £44 is inflated for the item. When compared with similar items however they are going for even more. I’m okay with the current price, but for such a simple device I think it should be cheaper. Security wise I have tested it and have been unable to activate any of my cards using a card reader when inserted fullly in to the case. Good quality and I think will last, good value for money…..not so sure.

Great design very slim so fits in your pocket without giving you a wallet bulge. 4 stars because you can only get 4 embossed (UK credit) cards in it. this would be fantastic if a little thicker so you can get 6 embossed cards in. I have had to purchase a second one for my other cards. I would recommend the double one because of this, it would still be slimmer than most other card holders and is less expensive than two. Very well made product, no issues with the lever.

Excellent quality in a small package
If you no longer carry cash then this is for you and your cards. Not only does it protect your cards from damage but also from Radio frequencies. These are in tap and pay machines in stores and can be used by hackers to access your cards. But not in this protected card holder. This card holder is minimalist and keeps your cards safe, organised and protected. I have been using Secrid card protector since 2019. This purchase was a gift. I highly recommend this Secrid card protector.

Solid, Simple and Secure
This is by far the best RFID card holder on the market, the revues for other models clearly show that most of them do not last long. My only criticism is that the SECRID holder only holds 5 cards and not 6 cards as advertised, the reason being is that most credit cards are embossed and this makes them slightly thicker than cards such as driving licences. The strength of this product is in its simple design and the fact that it seems to be made from a single piece of alloy. SECRID do make a thicker version but this is just two cases stuck together, if they come up with an 8 to 10 card version they would capture the market.

Great design, sleek and well made
Very slim and very mechanism works well. Can hold 6 cards but works better with 5 only because of the raised letters on certain cards if only 1 or 2 of your cards has raised letter then it will work fine with 6. The mechanism is really cool and when you press it, it displays all your cards like in the picture so you can easily access all of the cards even the ones in the middle. The build quality is really good and it feel like a well made product.

Overly priced essential cardholder
I really like the design of this sleek cardholder. It offers a lot of protection for the cards but just in cosmetics but also the protection of it being swiped. It is very useful as I travel around a lot. My only negative points are that the components inside I'm not as durable as outside. With my cardholder the arm that pushes the card out is just plastic and it has started to stick and ware down. Everyting you push the card out I hear an awful scraping sound :( might just be a faulty product

Excellent
This is an excellent product, well made and stylish. I bought this to prevent my credit/debit cards from breaking, which they tend to do over a period of time in conventional wallets. So far the mechanism to remove individual cards works well, and is very easy to use. This type of Secrid card protector is much less bulkier that normal wallets, so fits nicely in trouser pockets.

Secrid Cardprotector
I chose this item because I was looking for a wallet I could keep unobtrusively in my trouser pocket and which would take up very little space, unlike a leather wallet. Prior to purchasing the Secrid Cardprotector I would keep the odd credit card unprotected in my trouser pocket. Unfortunately I would also use the same trouser pocket to keep other small objects such as coins and a comb. I was never happy keeping this collection of objects together because I felt they would damage the credit cards. It was pure chance that I came across the Secrid Cardprotector which offers a slim, metal receptacle for the safe storage of 'cards'. I have found that I can keep up to 5 'embossed' credit cards in this metal wallet or maybe up to 7 'plain', non-embossed cards. Mixing embossed and plain cards will result in a compromise with regard to its capacity. I currently carry a mix of 5 cards. A sixth plain card could be carried but this would make the eject button very still to operate. My advice would be not to overload the eject mechanism. The eject button is located in one corner of the Secrid Cardprotector and when operated causes the cards to be partially ejected in a stepped fashion so that each card can be readily identified. I keep my most used card at the bottom of the stack of cards because it is the easiest to extract from that location. Reinserting the card after use presents no problems. The Secrid Cardprotector is advertised as offering protection against fraudulent access using electronic means and I have no doubt it will adequately shield the cards from all forms of electronic signals. Its metal structure acts as a Faraday Cage. What I have yet to ascertain is how great is the risk of credit cards being read remotely? I have only one concern ... is the Secrid Cardprotector worth the £20 I paid for it. I would have thought £10 was nearer the mark.
