Purchased as a fun present for a sweet-tooth. I was afraid that it would end up being a single use gimmick. However, it's been used over 15 times over last 2 years and it works surprisingly well!Instructions are clear, it's easy to use, heats up pretty quickly and is easy to clean.Keep in mind that it's not designed for heavy duty use though. It can make maybe 3-4 portions before it needs cleaning so you can't make a batch of say 20 straight away for a party for example. But can make 3-4 easily, maybe 5-6 which is perfect for most home use.

We received the machine in good time. However, when my son unwrapped it on his birthday and switched it on, one of the glass tubes was broken which made it unusable. We got back to the seller, who promptly responded and sent a replacement. When this arrived a few days later, it also had a broken glass tube. My husband took both machines apart to remove the unbroken tube from the one machine and use it to replace the broken one on the other. Then we sent back the machine with two broken tubes. The seller insisted they were not broken when dispatched and must have broken during transit. That seems likely, as it was packed in a way that one part was piercing the box on the top, and any strong pressure on that part could have broken the tubes. However, now that we have it working, it is a great machine and the children love it. It is fun to use, easy to clean and easy to get the hang of. An older child will be able to use it without supervision pretty soon.

Very impressed! Used it once with different flavours! Comes out great and really worth it! Can't wait to use it at the next kids party! Highly recommend!

It looks nice, but for such a big device it makes hardly any candy floss at a time. My two kids barely had a mouthful each turn. Ok for smaller children I suppose, and it does make the candy floss but just not a lot and also makes a mess. The sugar gets sprayed everywhere and it wasn’t easy to clean

Takes a little bit of practice to get the hang of it. But once you do its great. Experiment with how to catch the candy floss as it appears. I held the stick just above the middle once candyfloss appears catch it and spin the stick reasonably quickly in your hand moving from left to right drawing it upwards like webbing. If it drops it can go into the middle and goes hard and sticky. But just gently adjust what you do and before you know it you will have reasonably good sized floss. I bought the proper sugar for it and sticks and my son was delighted as it was for his Birthday and he is candy floss mad. Switch was almost impossible to turn on the first time but then it was fine Must have just been stiff. The "wasted" sugar that crystallized round the edge was delicious and wasn't wasted in my house.... took it apart and the sugar remnants dissolved in a basin of warm water. No scrubbing or anything. I'm looking forward to using this again. Defo recommend.
