Behringer ADA8200 ADAT Audio Interface with MIDAS Preamps, 8 In/8 Out, and 24-Bit Conversion

As a company, Behringer are fast earning themselves a reputation that most of the world would want to avoid. . It's one thing to steal ideas and then sell a cheaper version. . And it's another thing to make loads of charitable promises that they have yet to follow up on even years later. . But it's hard to believe that in 2023 a German owned company made a series of jokes and negative comments about a rival company that blatantly played on the rivals Hebrew heritage. . That aside, when i wanted something that does what this does, absolutely everything else i saw was more than double the price. I could afford this, it works well, and (so far) has given me zero issues (unless you count my conscience). .

Good quality item. With midas pre amps

First one was damaged, the plastic cover of the ADAT port had broken off and the ADAT cable wouldn't clip in. Replacement unit works OK and is pretty solid for a cost effective solution for more in and out ports. I do still think the ADAT ports could be a bit more robust. Still for the money, it's good value and does its job.

I was very surprised at the sound quality of the product, very easy to setup. The price is not bad, built quality spot on.

Will be buying another x2 units, flawless integration, never misses a beat or a clock.

Bought for additional outputs from my interface to convert ADAT to XLR. Great value for money and performs well. Absolutely no issues at all.

I'm not the world's biggest fan of Behringer kit, but I needed to convert an 8 channel ADAT signal (from an RME mic preamp) into 8 analogue outputs to feed a Sound Devices recorder. To be fair, this did the job straight out of the box. It wasn't expensive, and seems reliable + trustworthy so far.

The pres sound great at any price - perfectly good sound for silly money - dirt cheap 8 channels to add to my UAD Apollo 8. Synced via UNC cable so didn't have to use the ADA8200 as master clock.

Aunque a muchos no les agrada la marca, cumple con su función, sobre todo la lineas activadas con el phantom, pues esto le da un realce de potencia sin subir a tome la ganancia.

Item is exactly what it claims to be. Works beautifully as a slave to my Scarlet interface and allows me to run all of my drum mics while leaving the scarlet open for the guitar amp mics. I don’t have a need for the on board phantom power in my current setup but tested it and works flawlessly!
