Apple2022 Apple TV 4K Wi‑Fi + Ethernet with 128GB storage (3rd generation)

This far outweighed my expectations - even at the price! Picture quality is bright, clear and steady even with fast moving action and thats with all apps. The remote control, once you have gone into settings and set it to click only (a personal preference) is made of stainless steel and feels really nice. Make sure that you have a USB C charging lead for this as it's not provided.The apps come from the APPstore and so there is some certainty that they will work.I know this is silly but I just love that as you scroll from left to right and back to left through the apps the accompanying sound follows you.I tad expensive BUT worth it if you can afford it.What I would likee to see added - the BBC Sounds app but it does support AirPlay and so you can connect to sounds via you iPhone or iPad.

I have this linked to a 55" oled LG C2, and it works lovely, looks amazing, and in typical apple fashion, it works flawlessly with everything, especially with apple devices!I was always androiud/ windows, i bought a macbook air in the end, then a watch, then the apple tv, and the connectivity is great.you can use your apple phone to control it too, which actually is quite useful, eg if you have apps that require email login you can type the user/pass on your apple phone, sounds a small thing, but it is so nice not to have to scroll along a list of letters!I use it with an IPTV service, plus disney plus, paramount plus apps etc, and it all, just , works! great sound great picture, and so fast compared to TV, even my reasonable spec LG Oled C2 , it is just such a smooth experience on the Apple tv!

Arrived well packaged brand new in box, talked to someone who'd already got one, recommended the 64gb as its plenty, runs all the usual apps like Netflix Prime Disney etc, unlike our TV which doesn't and is so slow in comparison, typical apple product just works and quickly, remote feels quality but is small especially if you have hands like shovels, even with my massive fingers the swipe thing works, would recommend, best TV box we've ever had, only thing that comes close is LG Web OS when it first sets up, used this now for a few months, no stupid update or slow downs just works, only off put is the price. In my opinion its worth it to avoid the headaches of 'oh god its updated and crashed again'. Use a quality HDMI cable with it as its very capable of a nice picture.

This must be the best home addition I have bought for quite a while, super fast and can control though my HomePod eg “turn on my tv” has all the necessary apps like YouTube and Netflix also has apples own apps like you see on phones like photos and FaceTime the size is small and it’s really easy to set up it comes with the plug for power but the only downside is you have to source your own 4K HDMI cable and they aren’t cheap, overall this is an amazing product and a good way to upgrade your TV

Excellent little device knocked the spots off sky streaming. Very quick response even on relatively slow broadband.

I truly believe that this is the best streaming device for any TV. I’ve tried a few, but this is so much more intuitive, working brilliantly with other Apple products too.It’s a synch to set up, especially if you have your iPhone, or iPad near by.Although smart TVs have so many of these apps built in, they load quicker and easier from Apple TV. Picture and sound quality is superb, with little to no lag on the latter. It’ll play anything from your iTunes library, but also photos and video too fromiCloud. All in glorious 4K (if your TV supports that).All in all, it’s well worth paying a little extra - over similar products - for something that works so much better. Unlike many Apple products, it’s not vastly overpriced and when compared to similar products, it’s good value for money.The remote is much better than the previous generation, and appears to work well with the TV, as well as the device itself. It only requires charging through a USB-C cable a couple of times a year.All in all, it was a good buy. The only reason why I didn’t give it five stars was because there’s always room for improvement

Although a little taller than the original Apple TV box it’s still pretty compact, set up is a breeze and the interface runs much more smoothly than the original, a pleasure to use and has become my main device for streaming services, the WiFi connection is also much more stable than the original and the picture quality and sound seems like a step up too. What’s not love love about this. Oh and I should say that while I liked the original remote control for factor the new Apple Remote is faster. Smoother and now controls the power on/off of both my tv and soundbar simultaneously which is a god send, not having to operate 3 different remotes when turning the tv on or off. The remote has a built in battery and charges quickly via USBC and the power seems to last for ages, in one year of constant use I think I’ve charged it twice and it’s still going. You can also operate the unit from your mobile phone and Siri voice button saves a tonne of time because you no longer have to manually scroll to type in what you’re looking for and it works very well.

Excellent product! I especially like the feature that the remote control integrates with the television which I've connected it to so that when I swithc on the Apple TV device, it switches the televison on at the same time amd tunes into the correct channel which I've connected the Apple TV to,This is not a drawback, but just an observation. Because the Apple TV and controller aren't first generation, the controller cannot be used to drive the cars in Real Racing 3.
