Perfect balance between power and price
I'm an avid gadget fan and have had tablets even before Holy Steve came with the first iPad. It was a clunky device with a capacitive screen that was really slow and ran Windows 7. It also cost me over 500 pounds! This Chuwi is a perfect example of how far we've come since those days, not so long ago. It's a very capable device with an IPS screen that looks really good, even in bright sunlight. The back is aluminium giving it a really premium feel as opposed to most budget tablets that have a plastic back. It helps dissipate heat as well. The cameras are okay, good enough for Skype calls and the occasional snapshot. Battery life is good for these kind of devices, I've used it for 5 hours now and still have 10 percent left. Start up is pretty quick, depending on which of the two operating systems you choose to start with. It runs both Windows 10 and Android! The Windows side is excellent for work related stuff as you can install MS Office on it or use Google office solutions. I didn't buy the matching keyboard because I just bought a great foldable keyboard but it looks really good. Sound is a bit thin but with headphones on it's good enough for movies or YouTube. The feature that makes this tablet stand out is the ability to switch between Android and Windows on the fly. It's really smooth and makes the device much more versatile. I see this device becoming my trusty travel companion as the price doesn't make me worry all the time that I'll lose or damage it.

Budget tablet that gets most things right
This dual-boot Android and Windows tablet seemed perfect for me, on one hand, I want to be able to be productive, which is undoubtedly better with Windows, but on the other hand, I also want to chill out and stream some Netflix, which is undoubtedly better on Android. I was a little worried about the low price, but think the tablet does more stuff well than it does poorly. The tablet comes with a 5V 3A charger and a USB-C charging cable, as well as a manual and other papers. The tablet itself is made of metal which gives it a nice high-quality feeling compared to other cheap tablets. There are left and right stereo speakers which make a good media experience, a Micro HDMI slot, MicroUSB slot (for expanded connectivity using an OTG cable, which is not included), USB-C slot (for charging) and a MicroSD slot for expanding storage. The tablet has 64GB of storage, however, this is not evenly shared between Android and Windows. The Windows OS is given 41.1GB, of which 27GB is usable space (After completing Windows updates there is 25.3GB free) and the Android OS is given 12.67GB, of which 12.32GB is usable space.Inside Windows there is a desktop shortcut called SwitchNOW that allows you to switch to Android while in Windows. (This runs C:\Recovery\OEM\SwitchNOW.exe in case you accidentally delete this shortcut). In Android the power menu (holding the power button for 2 seconds brings this up) has an option to switch to Windows while in Android. The Android installation is bloatware free and comes with stock Android, although unfortunately, it has a really old version of Android (5.1) which is nearly 3 years outdated. When checking for software updates on the tablet none show up, indicating the manufacturer hasn’t bothered to update the device’s software despite Android now being on version 8.1! Despite this, nearly all the apps I wanted could be installed on the tablet and the software felt fast. While the CPU is about as fast as I would expect for a tablet, the Windows experience is let down by slow internal storage, it makes any process that depends on storage painfully slow. For example, Windows updates, installing and uninstalling programs or performing a disk cleanup takes painful amounts of time. One other reviewer complained about charging not being possible while booted into Windows, I did not experience this at all. It charged normally no matter what the circumstance. When Windows was at high load the charging rate was slower, but that is to be expected. The touch screen is sufficiently sensitive, I didn’t find it ever missed taps or was inaccurate. The screen is a sharp 1920x1200 HD display meaning it’s great for watching HD films. The colours are vivid and it seems to be an excellent screen for the price. I just wish the backlight got a little brighter as it can sometimes seem dull.I was hoping the dual stereo speakers would sound good, but they sound quite tinny and pathetic. They really struggle with the lows and bass and sound distant. I’d recommend using headphones or some other speakers if you intend to use it for media use.It does not support 5GHz WiFi, only 2.4GHz. This means you are restricted to slower WiFi, not newer faster WiFi standards. In real terms though this rarely makes much of a difference in my experience. The battery life is so-so, it’s not exceptional but lasts long enough at low loads. I couldn’t put a number on it as it really varies depending on what you’re doing.Overall this tablet is a high-quality feeling device, it’s made of metal, has a sharp display, it’s thin and light. You do make some compromises, notably the very outdated Android version, poor speakers and slow eMMC storage making Windows operation painful sometimes. But despite this I think it would make a good device for light usage if you are in the market for a budget tablet.

Clear screen, dual boot(!) decent battery life and a lovely build quality.
I use both Windows and Android so this was a natural upgrade for me and I am very pleased with the performance and the quality of the build. The specs on paper are quite impressive and once you are using it you find that it's more than capable of carrying out the tasks you are used to.The screen is very clear - there is a little reflection as you get with most screens but the brightness goes quite high and the colours are accurate - ideal for viewing photos and videos.Switching between operating systems is easy - on the Windows side you have a program for this and on Android it features as a menu on the power button. On the Android side you "only" get 5.1, but this is fine in my opinion - the main selling point of this tablet is the dual boot feature to give you in effect two tablets in one.You can get a specific keyboard for this on Amazon that slots into the base, or just use a Bluetooth one if you need to.Inputs are pretty good too - USB micro, USB-C, micro SD and mini HDMI.Netflix was handled very capably in Android - although it wasn't on the play store, I had to download the apk from the Netflix site. All in all a really good tablet with the best of both worlds - be prepared for a long wait for the initial update to the April 2018 release on Windows though...the upgrade took a few hours but it works fine!

Broken device.
I am so angry and disappointed. CHUWI Hi10 Pro Tablet PC can not charge the battery.I have bought Chuwi Hi10 with screen ptotector, case and keyboard for my business partner at Okinawa. After arriving to Okinawa I wanted to prepare the tablet so my business partner would have it ready for work. Than I discovered that the tablet battery can not be charged. I tried everything without any success. Fortunately for me I did not give this broken device to my business partner.I had to buy a new gift on the spot (Okinawa). Now I have not working tablet which I have to take back home. Please tell me what to do now.W.Orlik - disappointed customer.
