Bananna 4mm plugs conections

Good Morning Peter, Thanks for getting in touch. Yes, the AS201 has standard size banana plug fittings. Bare in mind there are small dust covers placed inside the banana plug sockets that will need to be removed. You can check Youtube on how to remove as can be a little fiddly but a small knife or fork can easily remove these providing care is taken. Hope this helps. can you connect a centre speaker?

No. This is a two channel amp. Front left and right speakers only.

Is this 4 channels for four speakers

You can connect 4 speakers, but they would still be in a Left and Right Paring. So 2 speakers - left side, 2 right side. You'd also have to take into account the impedance of each speaker. Eg a 4 Ohm min load on each side would be sufficient for 2 x 8ohm speakers per side. If they're 4ohm, only one pair should be connected in total.

Good quality analogue amp

Been using for a few months now after deciding to get into separates after having Sonos for a few years.Have hooked up to Cambridge cd player, tibo dab player, Chromecast audio and dac via pc, handles anything I play through it with ease, my speakers are Dali zensors and have good quality audioquest rca cables and ecosse speaker cables.Really pleased with it no issues to report very happy

My teenage son absolutely loves this amplifier. It goes perfectly with his new record player. He has used it so much already! It sounds good.However I'm not so keen on it ...as he helps less in the house 😆

Yamaha don’t make bad gear.

Trying to find an amp for my dad’s little home radio/cd set up which didn’t mean a mortgage wasn’t easy. Yamaha delivered. Does exactly what I wanted, no frills or fancy settings to get lost in, easy enough for an 84 year old man to work.Thanks Yamaha.

Lacks punch

Value for money but lacks punch. It's an okay amplifier, driving a pair of M10 & M20 mordaunt short speakers. I bought a subwoofer to add in the bass this amp seems to be missing. FYI. Yes it's set up correctly.
