Great product - would recommend to a friend
I mainly use the massage function for recovery post workout and racing. I find this has improved my recovery (could all be in my head of course) and my legs feel fresher the day after racing. Also love it for shoulders and back massage and would have it on all day if I could! The electrodes are nice and sticky. There are lots of preset programs so couldn't be easier to use. My device arrived in perfect working order and is going strong after a few months of solid use. A bargain when compared to some of the other comparable products out there...

Fantastic and EASY to use! Unnecessarily bulky charger.
When I purchased the Sports TENS 2 the reviews were limited and misleading regarding usability, so I felt it necessary to leave my own. Most importantly, reviewers had stated that the manual was overly confusing and the product therefore was not easy to use. This is my 3rd TENS unit and I could not find it easier to use. I purchased a Sanitas unit last year and EVERY single time I used it I had to refer back to the manual and follow the list of instructions: *that* was confusing, but not this. Sure, my manual was weirdly stapled together part upside down and back to front, but all I needed was PAGE 10. Simply hold power button down for a couple seconds to switch on (same to turn off), Choose EMS I, II or II, MASS(age), or TENS. Choose a mode (the TENS function has 12 to choose from, which I use), then simply press each of the two channels up and down to the desired level. You can also select the time. For my use I stick with Continuous time and turn it off when I want, but the timer was handy for using over night. The next time you use it all the settings will be the same as those last used. So once you've found your preferred mode to target your pain all you need do is turn it on and press the channels up/down. The unit automatically locks itself after 10 seconds which is a great feature and to unlock again press one of the channel down buttons and then make adjustments. This is a very convenient and great safety feature. I purchased this primarily for pain, but wanted to be able to use the massage and EMS functions, as well as make manual adjustments. I haven't had time to try these features yet and will update this review when I do. The manual does however have fairly comprehensive images of musculature and tens placement for these features. Unlike the cheaper (NHS-recommended) TENS units, the Sports 2 has a very clear LED display so you always know what is on and the specific Hz and Pulse rates that work for you.Pros: Simple to use, LED display, Several set & manual modes for EMS, TENS, & Massage functions.Thin & Lightweight to hide under clothing or clip to pocket/belt to look much like an MP3 player.Rechargeable battery.Simple modes or comprehensive as you choose (detailed manual)Dual channels for 2 body areas or cross-stimulation.Leads connect to unit very securely (preventing pull-out and tugging)Cons: Battery must be removed and charged in provided separate charger (although easy to remove)Case is large/bulky to accommodate the charger & plug, No USB option for travel. If there had been a USB charger that would allow for a small case I would have given the Sports 2 five stars with no hesitation.

Necessary piece of kit
Had a shoulder injury and I thought someone else could use it too so I decided to spend on it and we had a good use of it. I don’t think about money that I’ve spent on it because we used it so many times. It is a lazy weight loss, pain relief and massage. Works differently on different people. I have muscular contractions at 20 Hz but someone need 40Hz just for relax... but it is vary useful to balance imbalances in the body which is like relief of tension or activate muscle that lax. Loads of fun for training. Need a lot of pads for it especially for a first time use. Doesn’t need conductor gel though and that is good.

Super little TENS & EMS unit
Before this I had a very expensive Compex EMS. It was built like a brick but the screen started to fail about a day after the warranty ran out, then the battery failed so it was time for a new unit. I wasn't willing to part with the serious wad a Compex costs so I decided to give this a go at least than a tenth of the price.I'm absolutely blown away with it! It's actually a far better TENS unit than the Compex was. It's much smaller and lighter so you can clip it to your belt or truck it in a pocket while still running a program. There's a lot of TENS and massage programs to experiment with so I'm sure there's something to suit most people and applications. There's a good selection of EMS programs for sports training or rehabilitation, here the Compex does have more to go at, but not really anything that most would ever use.Battery is excellent, a charge seems to last forever!I certainly have no problems recommending this unit.

Faulty/Fake Device
The description talks of an external battery, this one is internal. It made me question the legitimacy of the product.I have to ramp the intensity up to 30-40mA before I can feel it. I’ve tried Tens/EMS/Massage and the same with each mode.I have tried new pads, and a new lead, also both channels and it’s the same effect. I’ve charged the battery to full.I have a cheaper device that on intensity 1 I can feel just fine.I then tried it with my OH who didn’t like the cheaper device even on level 2. But also couldn’t feel the sensation on the Sport 2 until around 30mA.If this is the intended design, it’s terrible, having to step up 30-40 levels just to be able to feel it.I’ll update my review if/when I get any answers.

Worked for me.
Have had a prolapsed disc L4/L5 for over 10 years and after reading about this sort of therapy I decided to have a go when this product came up on a lightning deal. Obviously this is not a miracle and only surgery will completely eradicate the pain and problem but this is a worth while item that has certaintly reduced the pain that I was feeling. I,personally, would recommend this as it has certainly eliminated one form of pain that i was feeling,I can sleep in bed for longer and a day's work is not AS painful as it once was. I have only used this 3 times as when I do use it the effect does seem to last a good 3 weeks or more for me. Not a miracle cure all but certainly does zap the nerves that are giving me a pain problem associated with a prolapse.

Good but limited options
Well built, sturdy, good battery life, quick chargingHowever, the amount of settings is rather limited. Don't be fooled by the amount of programmes... They all pretty much do the same.
