Just buy it!
Absolutely fab! Been looking for a walking dog for my 2 year old for xmas, tried usual big toy stores, dogs were £20++ and just kind of shuffled on the spot, pants. Saw this one bit skeptical as I haven't heard or seen one before but reviews online were all 4/5*.. tested it out when it arrived (super fast delivery considering I chose standard) and it actually walks beside you! And yaps too which is Cute! The lead going to it looks like a lead too. I am so so happy with it and glad that I got it for a good price too comparing it to the highstreet retailers. Thanks!

Fun fake pet for kids
This is a cute gift to give. I bought this one for my niece and she loves that the dog can walk and bark. Really good toy to have not as soft obviously because of the mechanical body however still a great toy. Works best on flooring not carpet.

Low quality but good enough for 1-2 year olds
Bought it for my 2 year old boy because it was the cheapest and easiest way to get him a pet. It came within the time expected and well protected. It looks as it shows in the picture. It resembles a westie dog with a little black bow. It mesures about 18cm (7inch) long, 22 cm (9inch) high and there is a pink cord (about 65cm/26inch) that goes from the back of its neck the the controller. The controller is blue and has two buttons. One makes the dog walk and the other makes it bark.I admit it doesn't look very high quality (the fur's touch could definitely be improved, the legs seem a bit too easily breakable, and the bark is a bit annoying and doesn't sound like a real dog bark), but it does the job of keeping my child entertained so I'm happy with it. At first he thought it was sort of a real dog but eventually he realized there are buttons to make it function. He likes to make it walk and bark and feels so proud of himself making his dog do those things. To add up, although the quality could be improved, it is a good toy that after several months with us, my child still likes to play with from time to time. And it's still in one piece! So, I would recommend it for toddlers who love animals but for some reason they can not have real pets.

His face was pure joy when he saw it and I was surprised to ...
This was meant to be five stars but I hit one star by mistake. My three year old grandson absolutely loves his westie! His face was pure joy when he saw it and I was surprised to see how caring he was towards it, worrying about it's comfort and taking it for a walk, although he prefers carrying it around. The buttons on the hand control are easy to use and the lead is just the right length for a toddler. It has soft pure white "fur" with a sweet face, although it isn't padded very much but it is still huggable. Very happy with this purchase!

Not a bad toy, but better if you can buy it for cheap...
Bought for my young nephew who was, at the time, developing an affinity for animals. When out in the stroller he would point and smile at various critters such as birds, cats, people, and dogs. As his home is absolutely pet free I thought that this would be a close second to having a real pup...How wrong was I?He immediately clocked that it wasn't real (perhaps kids are a lot smarter than I give them credit for?) and would slap it down whenever it was placed near him. Okay, it doesn't particularly look very real, it walks in a very mechanical "cheap toy" way complete with loud motors (think wind up toys), and it yaps in a non-dog like way (the yapping and walking being controlled by a "leash" that terminates in a handle with buttons), but it looks cute enough...The dog toy wasn't particularly played with, plus there was a worry over accidents potentially happening with the leash (but of course you never take your eyes off such young kids), but, he soon warmed to it when he noticed a spider (which was actually fluff) by the radiator.Being curious but safety conscience he used the dog to help him investigate the "spider" by controlling the dog so that it reach the spider before him. Sadly, the dog doesn't walk very fast so it was left shouting "hurry" to the poor dog...All in all its a decent toy, even more so if bought cheaply (maybe around the tenner mark), and based on a study of one child (very scientific) it might get very little play...I would prefer to give this 3.5 stars but, sadly, this doesn't seem to be permitted.

Prompt delivery
I bought this for a friend because it looked exactly like the dog she used to have and who I looked after when she went out in the evening. We’ve had a hilarious time with this excellent toy!

Not worth the price
I should have listened to the other poor reviews, what a waste of money! Not only is this cheaply made but it doesn't work like I'd expected it to.The "barking" is more like "yapping" (similar to that of a dogs squeaky toy).It also doesn't walk properly on carpets or laminate flooring. You operate the toy via the blue handle at the end of its leash, there's two small buttons which you press (one for walking and the other for it's so called barking). When pressed it's hit and miss wether either feature works at all.So disappointed with this buy as I thought it would be well made for the price it's advertised at (£16).I purchased because it had money off its usual £25 price tag which is quite frankly daylight robbery. It looks cheap, it feels cheap and operates like a cheaply made toy. There's been very little care and attention put into this toy (I will admit that it's a little cute tho). This is just cheap tat that's being hyped up and sold for way more than it's actually worth.

Great toy. Value for money.
Bought for our granddaughter as her other one from someone for Christmas had broken after a day. She loved playing with it very much.Appears sturdy safe and was definitely value for money, as a few of these are about £25-£30 pounds and not worth money, but this one definitely is. 5🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
