1 Drawer DVD Rack

I needed a bookcase that could take approximately 150 books all of the same size and weight. The shelves needed to support 8 books each without sagging. I bought 6 of these units. Stacked them together and used the ties to connect to a wall. Pine finish is good. Easy to build and cheap. One issue why do makers supply cheap screws instead of steel formed ones. So much easier. Why do people buy units without measuring the height of the books etc that will be going in. ?

Received quickly by the seller and all parts were there and intact. Instructions were a little sparse on details but gave a good rough guide that you could easily follow. The unit is fab once completed, small but perfectly formed and very sturdy as every part is screwed in as well as wooden dowels. It appears to be a unfinished wood, which is very nice just as it is or I should imagine it would be quite easy to paint or stain it to whatever colour suits your scheme. All in all very pleased with our purchase and a very good price for what you get - we wouldn't hesitate to buy another if we needed it!

This DVD rack comes as a flat pack so you need a small hammer and screwdriver to assemble it. There are a lot of screws but this means it's vey solid when built. So the finished article is a decent DVD rack and quite good value. However there are some negative points: - The drawer at the bottom is only 105mm deep inside so not big enough even for a CD. So more cosmetic than useful. - The shelves are located on pre-drilled dowel and screw holes at exactly the right size for a normal DVD. This means even simple sleeved boxsets don't fit! Why not change the design slightly: remove the drawer and reposition the shelf mounting holes to take up the extra space? Then most boxsets will fit easily!

These were easy to build, are incredibly light and are sturdy. I have five. However, if they were adequately sized, I wouldn't have needed five. The units are not very tall and not very wide, which is ideal for me. But the shelves themselves ... Standard book sizes are 6 x 9 inches. And these shelves are NOT tall enough to accommodate the STANDARD BOOK SIX with them standing as they would in a normal book shelf. These are PERFECT for DVDs - and the box they come in says DVD on them. Nothing about books. My books are in them end to end, lying flat. I can fit two rows of books side by side in this fashion. I can fit books in standing straight if I bend or cram them, which damaged one of my older books so much that the cover came off when I was taking it off the shelf. So yeah - by no means are these book shelves if I can't even STAND MY BOOKS UP! And the drawers are so small they're almost useless. But they suffice, and they look nice. Just BE. WARNED! The name is completely misleading and if I knew before my first purchase that they wouldn't fit books, I'd have gotten something else. But after the first shelf I liked them so much I thought eh, they're not right, but they're okay. If I was more into movies than books, and my books were all DVDs, I'd be celebrating these beauties wishing I could rate them 10 stars. With an extra 10 stars for the seller - very nice with fast responses and fast replacement when my last order never turned up. But for that name, implying they're bookshelves, I have to rate them down I'm afraid.

Several reasons for giving this review. I purchased this product reading reviews which was absolutely wrong. There are several reasons I recommend not to buy. 1.The shelf is not sturdy to stand on the floor. The bottom part is not screwed and stand on the wooden hinge which is unstable 2.Instruction given for fitting is not proper and lacks clarity plus not providing screw driver and hammer 3.Many of the screw holes to fit the screws are lacking and needs to be drilled. I thought everything will be predrilled and only need to be screwed. 4.The shelve width is smaller than expected 5.Last important thing, I tried contacting seller regarding the product because of the manufacturing defect. The seller is least helpful regarding that. Please don't buy this product.

A very sturdy and well built unit. Was able to put this together on my own. Looks good finished and was excellent value for the price.

I never usually do a review but in this case I feel I must.The item arrived earlier than expected, was really easy to assemble, took me about 30 minute's from arriving to being filed with book's. It looks good and is well worth the money. I will be purchasing another one in the future. Excellent product five stars

Bois véritable. A ce prix, c'est rare même si c'est du pin. Assemblage facile et bon rendu. On peut y ranger une petite centaine de CD. A recommander. J'en ai pris une deuxième afin de les superposer.

Nonostante ho visto le foto di chi lo ha montato sbagliato, e quindi tutta l' attenzione di cui sono capace, anche il mio ha il cassetto in alto... inoltre, avendone comprati due, ho notato che i fori per viti e spinotti sono diversi nei due esemplari. Comunque è un porta CD piacevole e in buon legno naturale

Très bien seul bémol pour les personnes novices qui ne savent pas monter les meubles ou ces la première fois qu’ilen monte un il n’y a aucun numéro qui sur les planches et les visserie. Sinon il est chouette
