So far so good changes forza 6 for the better

Much better than the previous versions I had (which I had to replace twice).Not given 5 stars just because two details: 1) the USB cable is too short 2) the wheel coloured buttons are not identified (it takes time to guess where is X, Y etc... and need to explain every time to someone new using it)Seller was good providing all the information needed, very quick delivery (even being mailed from Portugal). Only remark goes to the European power plug. A warning to the buyer should be considered especially when the product was sold to UK.

This is a rare piece of kit at moment as out of stock everywhere, but I was able to place an order with Amazon for delivery when in stock - this service I give 5 stars as within a couple of weeks it was delivered. Imagine my surprise (and my 14 year olds disappointment) when we discovered that being in the UK, we couldn’t use it?! Despite the order being fulfilled by Amazon UK, it came with a European 2 pin plug. We tried a shaver adapter, but nothing happened. A few YouTube videos and Google research later, it transpired that units sold in the UK should come with a UK adapter. Thankfully I was able to order a UK adapter direct from Thrustmaster, and we now have a working steering wheel and a happy 14 year old.Amazon customer services could not offer an explanation, and although they agreed we could return the item, I feel a little disappointed, and just want to make other UK buyers aware, so they can purchase knowing an additional purchase will be necessary.

The unit itnself is in perfect condition love the feel of the pedals unfortunately they gave me the eu 2 pin plug instead of the 3pin uk and thrustmaster themselves says NOT to use an adaptor.So basically looks fine but have no clue wether the product it self even works untill my new power cable arrives which i had to buy from thrustmaster as amazon have 0 in stock.The product description stated 3pin uk plug will be included if required i mean i got this delivered to my UK house ???I will update review on product once the power cable arrives.

Everything you need, could've done with clearer instructions that you need to manually download and install the windows 10 driver from the website. And a shame they ship it with a european power cable and not a UK one, but thats fine if you have a shaver adapter rated at 3A at 240V, although the device only draws up to 3A at 15V I think?The wheel is brilliantly comfortable and feels fine racing or driving a truck 1500km across europe. The pedals dont have much stability against sliding on floors but are adequately still on wood flooring.

Die Verarbeitung ist einfach super,die Pedale und auch das Lenkrad reagiert viel schon auf kleineBewegungen.(Was man allerdings wissen sollte, damit der Fahrspaß nicht auf der Strecke bleibt.Die Schraube zur Arretierung des Lenkrads muss ganz eingeschraubt werden)Daher den Tipp... bevor man das Lenkrad auf die Wheelbase schraubt,erstmal die Schraube komplett eindrehen... rausdrehen und dann erst das Lenkradanbringen.Die Bedienung, total simpel... auf beiden Geräten, Windows 10 undder Xbox One wurde das Lenkrad sofort erkannt.Unter Windows habe ich erstmal ein Check auf Updates durchgeführt.Auf der XBox wird dieses Lenkrad allerdings nicht in der Gerätelistewie z.B. ein Controller angezeigt.Die Einstellung für Force Feedback... werden im Spiel vorgenommen.Hier hat man wieder den Vorteil, dass man nicht ins Xbox Menumuss um eine Einstellungen vorzunehmen wenn man unterschiedlicheSetups pro Spiel benötigt ... Als Beispiel Forza und Rally.Die Reaktion des Lenkrads ist enorm, bei Rennen fühlt man richtigdie Straße... Die Kraft vom ForceFeedback ist ebenfalls super.Je nach Einstellungen, spürt man sogar in den Pedalen wenn manüber Korbs fährt. Als Wheelstand nutze ich die OPLITE OP-GTR-WS.Auch hier passen die Bohrungen für das Lenkrad und Pedale 100%ig.Die Schaltwippen sind sehr gut positioniert und reagieren ebenfallsenorm schnell, diese sind übrigens aus Metall.Den Lüfter hört man nur ganz ganz leise und dann aucheigentlich erst wenn man das Lenkrad von der Konsole trennt.Das Lenkrad bringt die Xbox auf die Straße... einfach der Wahnsinnund wie präzise man damit fahren kann, da kann der Kontrollereinfach nicht mithalten.Das Lenkrad (Leder) ist absolut tadellos verarbeitet,auch ohne Rennfahrer-Handschuhe kann man mehrere Stundenam Lenkrad sitzen ohne das es schmerzt oder Blasen gibt.Das Leder ist gut rutschhemmend und schön von der Haptik.Die Nähte des Lenkrad stören nicht beim fahtren.An die notwendigen Tasten kommt gut mit den Daumen ran,so dass man die Hände am Lenkrad halten kann.Die Pedale... ebenfalls super sie sind zwar nicht aus der Top-Klasseaber für den normal Fahrer schon super...Bremse und Gas super Detailreich...Der Preis (im Moment ca. 390€) ist nicht gerade günstig... aber für das was man hier bekommt,ich glaube für den Preis bekommt man nichts Besseres.Und dann noch in Verbindung mit einem robusten Wheelstand...Ein must have für Fahrzeug-Simulations-Spiele

Indispensable para iniciarse en el mundo del SimRacing. Hay otras opciones más económicas en el mercado y que pueden realizar su función perfectamente, pero la calidad de este volante es excelente dentro de su rango de precio. Un aro de diámetro excelente, de muy buena calidad (cuero cosido a mano) y tacto exquisito. Aún así estoy a la espera de que me lleguen los guantes para competir y así darle mayor realismo a la simulación y mayor durabilidad al cuero del volante.Tiene buen sistema de refrigeración y hasta la fecha no he visto que se caliente nada, por lo que se le pueden echar bastantes horas seguidas.El force feedback para ser la primera vez que lo uso me parece una genialidad. Mi recomendación es no ponerlo al 100% porqué se pueden sentir sensaciones que no sean tan realistas. Se nota cada bache de la carretera y muchísimas de las sensaciones de pérdida de aderencia del coche con la carretera. Al principio, si no has usado nunca un volante con force feedback puede asustar un poco, el volante gira hacia el lado contrario y te da miedo mantener la fuerza para evitarlo pensando que se va a romper, pero no es así. Solo es la sensación que tienes al ser primerizo con un producto de este estilo. Un par de horas es más que suficiente para acostumbrarte a estas sensaciones y entonces es cuando ya empiezas a disfrutarlo.Las levas del volante muy cómodas y si nunca has usado levas hay que reconocer que uno se acostumbra pronto a su uso.Los pedales son de plástico pero tienen muy buen tacto y dureza. En mi caso juego en calcetines, no con zapatillas y estoy encantado. Habrá gente que recomiende el uso de calzado especial para conducir pero no es para nada necesario.En general el producto es excelente y estoy encantado con el. Se disfruta mucho la conducción y ahora espero poder echarle más horas y aprender a conducir mejorando los tiempos y siendo más competitivo.Si este producto te pudiera parecer caro ya tendrías que pensar en la gama inferior de Thrustmaster y si eres de los que se pueden permitir gastar un poco más ya la mejor opción sería la gama alta de Thrustmaster TSPC (que habría que comprar los pedales aparte) o ya irse a la marca Fanatec. Pero estoy seguro que esta es la mejor opción y que vas a disfrutarlo al máximo. Olvidate de las sensaciones por usar gamepads y disfruta cada segundo de conducción con este tipo de periféricos.
