Tsukineko Versafine Ink Pad, Onyx Black

Good pad but just wish the lid was hinged and not removable because I sometimes end up with ink on the edge of the lid when replacing it. Messy.

The best ink ever. I still have it after 5 years and I still use it. Love it and totally recommend.

Absolutely fantastic for fine detailed work when stamping

As a crafter I am not particularly a fan of pigment inks, mainly because they are so much hassle to clean off my stamps and often stain them, however I am starting to work with more media that is water reactive I needed an ink that wouldn't bleed into my colour. After much pondering I went for this one and I have to say it really is excellent, I use the bubble gum scented stamp cleaner from ranger/Tim Holtz and I don't even need to wash my stamps when I use this ink, two sprays and dab it with kitchen roll and it comes up as clean as new. I am absolutely converted and will buy other colours in the range now that I know it isn't going to ruin my stamps when I am working with it. You cannot use this for alcohol markers as it will bleed, however I sometimes do want that effect if I want something to look a bit grungy, The ink is not sticky like other pigment inks and it wipes off your fingers with baby wipes no problem. It is very effective for stamping fine details and it stays wet long enough for embossing powder to stick to it. Would absolutely recommend I will only be using this brand of pigment inks in the future.

A lovely stamping product - the ink is crisp and clear and very black. It dries reasonably quickly - you can move it a little with water before it dries (it does granulate a little with water) but it appears to be quite permanent once dry. You can, with effort, get a faint very pale wash out of the dry ink... but you'll damage your paper before that. My only gripe? ---> The actual ink pad is TINY - 2 inches by 3 1/2 inches. However... the case lid itself folds back completely to leave the pad totally up and exposed so you can ink a larger stamp by inverting the pad and pressing it down on the stamp. That ability mitigates the smallness of the pad, so still gets 5 stars. Well worth the price for the quality of the ink and the rich sharpness it stamps out.

Ottimo. Il nero è molto profondo e stampa benissimo. Inoltre ha il pregio che se si stampa un disegno e lo si colora all'interno con colori acquarellabili il nero non stringe e non sbava perchè impermeabile. Non è adatto però ad essere usato con colori a base di alcool tipo Copic: per questi colori va usato il Memento della Tsukineko. Non è adattto neanche ad essere usato su carta da lucido o su carta lucida: per questi materiali si può usare lo StazOn black jet.

As a card maker, I find this ink produces super crisp results, and details of stamps pop! I highly recommend using this for sentiments. If you use alcohol markers, this ink isn't friendly. Yet, for other uses it is AH-mazing. Have been using this ink for years.
