Great saw.
Great for cutting dowels after gluing to project. Love its flush cut.

Nice sharp saw
Very nice quality saw. Great for making flush cuts. Just wish it had a better, sturdier box to keep it in, rather than cardboard. It does come with teeth protectors and the saw has retained its sharpness, although I don't use it a lot, so I can't comment on that.

performed very surprisingly, It cuts like a monster
This thing cuts like a monster. I was really surprised how well it performed considering how inexpensive it was. It's well worth it.

Finding more uses for it
At first I thought this might just be a waste of money sitting in the tool cabinet, but as time went on I found quite a few trimming and cutting uses for this. I'm feeling better about it now. It cuts well and is easy to control.

I've got a big head and little arms
Okay, so... I'm mostly a newbie to woodworking. Mostly as I've always been daunted by the use of heavy or awkward tools. Because I have little (scrawny) arms. Jagged, stuttering cuts with various manual and power tools have been a long lesson to learn; I just don't have the arm strength for precision, if the tool requires brute force control to achieve it.My bigger problem is, I have a big head, with ambition to learn, and refusal to give up. I see stuff on pinterest and say, 'I could maybe make that', or 'I could maybe make that better'.So, in the hunt for tools to make that goal more accessible to me, I decided to give this japanese saw a try. And it has been a game changer! It cuts SO effortlessly, without jagged starts and stops, no snaggle-tooth hang-ups, no twisting off course. It's a dream tool for me.

Sharp & Durable
I needed a tool that was sharp & bendable to complete projects. I was very pleased at how sturdy yet flexible it was.The blade was very sharp & it included a plastic blade guard that I found helpful to not get cut when I take it out to use.Overall I highly recommend the knife to anyone that needs a sharp, well made tool for carpentry or for cutting small branches/ tree stumps.
