GREAT BED PILLOW ! I was given this pillow as a gift about a yr. ago and can't express enough what a difference this made sitting up in the bed. Never thought to get myself one, but i recently purchased 2 as gifts and they have really liked this pillow as much as me, this was the same couple that had given me the pillow a yr. before. First words were thank you, we can't believe how comfortable these pillow are ! I even pull the pillow down lower and fall asleep on it. I Appreciate the cover is washable and has held up great ! Honestly, I had ordered 5 other pillows for nephews, sister and a niece that were lower quality, but I knew to go back to Millard for the next two. Gettting ready to order 2 more for granddaughters for gifts, hoping they're still on sale too ! I will only purchase this pillow and soon I will have to replace the 5 that were not quality at all. Truly a nice pillow that has durabillity, not flanned and still looks new after every wash ! I think I've said more than enough ! lol That's how impressed I am ! I took the time to read reviews, so when my pillow arrived I unwrapped it, and removed the outer cover, then placed it in my closet for two days to airate and puff up to full-size undisturbed. Then I replaced the cover and set it on my bed. For me, the stuffing is perfect, no need to add any extra and I haven't removed any. I like the option of being able to do both. There was no extra padding included in my package which I was grateful for because I wouldn't have needed it or had a place to store it. The instructions said I could have placed the pillow into my dryer on fluff for 10 minutes to reconstitute it. (if I had wanted to ) also a recommendation from the manufacturer if it needs re-fluffing after use. This pillow is soft to the touch, and feels soft against my back while also being firm and supportive. I place it against the wall at the head of my bed and lean against it comfortably. I have also used it on my couch as additional back support and it works great there also. I am under 5' tall so sitting on most couches is uncomfortable unless I sit Indian style or with my feet tucked in under me. This pillow allows me to sit comfortably with my feet flat on the floor or proped up on the ottoman without having to slouch to do so. I like that I can take the stuffing out of the inner cover and soak (hand wash... not machine wash) the inner cover if it gets soiled, and then restuff it when dry. The removable outter cover is machine washable which is nice. I am guessing the stuffing could be machine washed/dried on gental cycle seperaterly after being placed in a mesh bag. I will probably give it a try at some point due to todlers and cats living in my home not to mention my own clumbsiness. I have had other backrest pillows (TV pillows) before they were supportive and firm, but hard and heavy, and machine washing was not recommended. Although I did machine wash them when they became soiled (had to or throw out). They always threw my machine out of balance and took forever to dry. This pillow is a true upgrade with major convenience factors. I highly recommend this pillow.

I’ve really been enjoying this reading pillow. I use it on my bed when I read or scroll on my phone, and it’s been so comfortable and supportive. It definitely makes relaxing in bed a lot easier than sitting upright in a regular chair. For me personally (I’m 5'5”), the pillow feels a little small. It works, but I think it would be perfect for kids, teens, or adults who are around 5'3” or shorter. If you’re taller or need something more supportive for long periods (like working on a laptop or sitting upright for a long reading session) you might want a bigger, more structured option. But overall, it’s still very helpful and worth the money. I’d definitely recommend it for someone a bit smaller, and I still enjoy using it even at my height.

Comes shrink wrapped (air tight? not sure what the term is) but it puffs up to a good, bigger, fluffy size. My 2 year old finds it comfortable as do I so it's pretty versatile. Nice bright color, comfy fabric, good construction.

This after a few hours. By the 48 hr time it should be filled out completely. When first taken out of the package it’s pretty flat. Comes with a great package cutter. Looks pretty comfortable. Good price. No smell. Nice color grey.

Supportive but Loses Shape Too Quickly The Milliard reading pillow sounded like the perfect solution for sitting up comfortably in bed, and at first, it really was. The shredded memory foam feels supportive without being too hard, and the arms give a nice “hugged” feeling that regular pillows can’t match. The removable, washable cover is another plus—it’s soft to the touch and easy to clean. The problem comes after a few weeks of steady use. The foam inside begins to compress and lose its shape, especially at the top, leaving the pillow feeling more like a lumpy cushion than a structured backrest. While you can add or remove foam, it doesn’t quite restore the original support once it starts to break down. For taller users, the pillow also feels undersized—it doesn’t reach high enough to support the shoulders or upper back well. Another thing to note is the off-gassing smell when first unpacked. It does fade after a day or two, but it’s noticeable at the start. The pillow also arrives vacuum-packed, so it takes a full day or more to fluff up before you can really use it. Bottom line: This reading pillow is comfortable in the short term and has nice features like a washable cover, but the foam doesn’t hold up over time. If you’re looking for occasional use, it’s fine. For daily back support, you’ll probably want something sturdier.

Great Reading pillow, very comfortable to relax on in bed. Love to sit up in my bed at night watching TV...this pillow is soft enough to fall asleep on and not wake up with a crick in your neck.

The colour is very pink. It’s great. It took about 12 hours to fully gain its shape. Well worth the wait

So glad I ignored negative reviews. People not using basic common sense. Ordered the standard size for extra support in the living room and the jumbo one for a more comfortable upright sleeping position to eliminate snoring. It works. Mine is a small double bed and the jumbo largest size of the 2 takes up most of the width. I love it. Ofcourse it will arrive a bit limp and gappy It’s been vacuum packed for however long! I removed the plush velour outer cover, unzipped the inner white protective cover and repositioned the memory foam bits to fill the limp gaps. Allowed it to expand for 24 hours before putting back in the velvety covers. Such a snug plumpy fit! Me and my household are properly enjoying both these purchases! They are sturdy, well made, well stitched, they ooze comfort. Covers are washable. Filling can be topped up over time if need be. What’s not to like? See pics.

Not much lower back support - its very small. . Returned. Ordered different brand 2x bigger, much better.
