Great toy, very long lasting and excellent value
Excellent toy and very long lasting. My 2 years old GSD loves Kongs - she has graduated from the pink and blue puppy ones to the red adult one and is now on her second black one. She is a 'power chewer' and the black Extreme Kong provides her with satisfying chewing time. Unlike many other toys, this Kong can take serious dedicated chewing as well as being fun to play Fetch with, as it bounces unpredictably. Ultimately, the top can start to separate after endless chewing. but it is easy to see if this happens so you can remove it from your dog. All in all, a great toy satisfying a dog's natural need to chew whilst being incredibly long lasting and excellent value.

Every Dog Seems to LOVE This Toy!!!
I bought the small version of this toy to go in the stocking of my Puppy on her first Christmas, we named him Drake and she loved him, really loved him. She looked fabulous running about with Drake in her mouth, she loves the long neck, she puts her head back and throws it up a bit and catches it. Willow is 2 now, this will be her 3rd Christmas and Drake is still going great, only the neck is showing a little bit of wear but the rest is great. I got her the Flamingo last Christmas and although she plays with her when Drake is getting wahed nothing can come close to Drake and her love for him. I love the game of throwing Drake and watching her catch him in her mouth with great ease time after time. So when it came to saying thank you to out courier who helped socialise (and make sure she didn't hate men) during the pandemic we got his little dog a Drake. There was no thinking about whether he liked his duck he was off with it and played for ages. He loved Drake! Then I was going to stay with my Cousin and his new girlfriend who has a Labrador. Taking Willow to meet him she had to take him a gift and the first thing we thought of was Drake but had to find one Lab size. Gryff (Gryffindor) loved it immediately, the kids were throwing it for him and he was catching it, but instead of the neck he loved the body because he can make it 'honk' Willow got a bit confused when she saw Gryff's Drake and how she couldn't pick it up like she did her own, but that amused the family so that was good fun too. It's been a few weeks and Gryff still loves Drake, he's been through the washer a few times and he's not damaged. I can not reccomend this toy enough, I will be back for morewhen I have a dog who needs a gift and would definately replace Willow's Drake if something was to happen to him.

Keeping my dogs occupied for extended periods
I have not given a rating for durability as my dachshunds have only had these for two days, time will tell as they can destroy most things!I don’t know why it has taken me so long to buy them these kongs, given one of them especially is food orientated and begs for anything and everything. So, these make her work for the piece of cheese she gets when I make a sandwich. I put a small piece in each one, large enough though so it doesn’t just fall out and off they trot with them. They then spend a long time getting that cheese out. It’s genius and much better than the treat dispensers I have already to try and stimulate them, which they quickly worked out how to get into so treats were obtained from them in under a minute, so I’d stopped using them.I think dogs work out their own ways of getting things out of these. My female is currently throwing hers in the air onto the floor in the hope it will break up what is inside, they also lick in the dispensing hole to make the things inside soggy to make them easier to slip out to eat.You can fill these with lots of things, so vegetables, etc and I like the idea that in the summer I could put things in and then put them in the freezer, especially if we get another summer like this years heat.I also have the kong paste to go in them, but don’t use it each time as it isn’t cheap and kong biscuits. The biscuits fit in well and they do have to try hard to get them out so one biscuit lasts a long time and it is keeping them occupied for extended periods but it is only one biscuit, so not to many in a day to pile on the pounds.I have also bought the medium version of these to mix it up a bit for them.Easy to clean, for inside I use an old toothbrush to get anything remaining out. I don’t know if you could dishwasher them, don’t want to run the risk of ruining them.Definitely a worthwhile investment. In the photo, the purple thing next to the kong is a make up spatula. I ordered them so that when I put paste or pate in the kongs, rather than have to spread it round inside of kong with my finger (as the pastes are disgusting to me, the human,) I use one of these spatulas and then chuck it in the dishwasher once done. It was a pack of 5 at under a fiver and it is meaning a little paste can go a long way.

Withstands large breeds with destructive bite
This is withstanding my cane corso and nothing has proved worthy of his gigantic Jaws yet.

Lasted while she was small, but she destryed it at 9 months old
So I bought this for my staffy pup when she was 4 months old. It was too strong for her then and she left it alone after a few weeks of playing with it. Fast forward 5 months later and I found the kong in her toy basket and gave it to her to relieve her chewing urges. Well it lasted all of 30 mins. She broke the kong into 5 pieces and it was pretty much unusable. Worked for a bit, but her jaws must of got stronger quicktime. Now will try the XL, maybe she will struggle with that one.

Great for cats
I get the small one for my cat and stuff biscuits in it. It takes her about 2 months to destroy one.
