If you hit one of the lower cells first, all the dye runs out leaving no effect for hits higher on the target. The cells look like they are independent from each other, but they are not. They are interconnected. Kind of expensive for what you get.

This item is so much fun to take out while learning to shoot!

I felt like these were a bit expensive, but bought them anyway since it was to be a gift. My nephew whom I gave them to said that they were awesome. So happy I got it for him. Not sure I'd pay that much just for a day at the shooting range but would buy again as a gift.

This was so much fun to shoot. The hubby and I bought the 3 pack, shot one, gave one to our favorite gun dealer and have one more left.

I started off shooting this target with my .556 at about 45 yards and was very happy with how well I could see where the impact took place. After unloading several 30 round pmags on this target, I decided to get close on it with my shotgun to finish it off. What a great decision that was. My shotgun lit this target up and the effect was awesome! I haven’t had this much fun at the range in a long time.
