Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-, Vol. 1 (light novel) (RE ZERO SLIAW LIGHT NOVEL SC)

Tappei Nagatsuki has managed to make the perfect hook with the hit series Re:Zero. The story revolves around a Japanese boy Natsuki Subaru who suddenly gets transported to a different world where he has to start from zero. What makes Re:Zero stand our from other isekai series would be the ability of the main character which is everytime he dies he returns to a specific point in time. Another reason would be it's main lesson about self worth that you will only realise after following the events of the series. This series has everything from a large, charming yet complex characters, deep lore, great fights and a lot of emotional moments that embodies the overarching themes. MUST READ!

A really amazing translation, the Light Novel is great, and I love it!The only bad thing about the kindle version is that page numbers appear as they would in the physical book, I can personally live with it, but I consider it unprofessional since the kindle app or the actual kindle counts pages differently and at the bottom of the page.Apart from that it's perfect, the images have really good quality.

Bought for my grandsons birthday to start a collection for him

It was a great pleasure to go through this book, and I'd highly reccommend it to anyone who are interested in medieval fantasy.The world-building is brilliant, and managed to avoid the generic 'fish out of water' trope to a great extent.The one problem I have is with how long Subaru took to find out what was going. Any sane person, especially a shut-in like him would have caught on.Despite that, I have a great time reading this.

If you are a fan of the anime then I highly recommend reading these Light Novels, they take the story and concept of the anime and expand on it like crazy giving you more detail and a richer idea of the world the characters are in. The artwork within the books are of high quality and the actual book itself is quite hefty in size so its a good few hours of reading to get through it.

I've thoroughly enjoyed the anime of Re:zero , so when I saw on amazon that the novel version was available for pre order I pre ordered and eagerly awaited it's release.The first novel is just as fun as the anime , as well as abusive to the main character, with a few extra details thrown in.I can't wait for the next book.

Absolutely loved it. The storyline is amazing and it has to be one of the greatest anime shows too. After reading this is highly recommend watching the anime series

To preface this, I was blown away by how good the anime was. I watched it years ago and always wanted to know what happened next in the story. So I finally made the decision to dive right into the light novels and WOW! I like the light novels even more than the anime. Tappei Nagatsuki's writing style is truly amazing. The light novels are the best, most authentic way to experience the story and they're infinitely more detailed than the anime. The bits of lore, and character details that are not portrayed properly in the anime are very important and the light novels manage to give you a very expensive world building and it explores the intricacies of the characters.Needless to say, I love Re Zero. I've been liking these light novels so much that I'm already reading volume 6 as of this time, and I intend to keep buying all the translated volumes as I keep reading and they become available. If you're on the fence about buying these light novels, or if you aren't really used to reading, then don't worry. They're easy to understand due to the great quality of writing and I assure you that if you liked the anime, you'll like the light novels even more.
