STAUBPancake Pan Round 28cm Black

Loved the feel and weight of this when using it. I was pretty rubbish at using this at first and found the slight turn up around the pan frustrating. I’ve now (according to my young daughters who love the crepes I now make) mastered it and completely get why the pan has the slight rise (and let’s be honest it’s French and they kind know these things) as it allows the included tool to raise the pancake slightly when checking when to flip. Love it.

I bought this pan to make naan. It worked brilliantly. I gave the pan a light coating of good quality ghee and wiped off the excess with a paper towel. I set on medium heat and used the sizzle test to be sure I had the pan at the right heat. Then popped in the flatbread and waited a minute or so for it to firm up. Delighted! Completely non-stick! Brushed on a little more ghee. Perfect! This pan should last a lifetime.

I was excited about this considering her brand! It is sturdy but everything sticks to to - I mean everything. Followed the instructions before first use and the rest! Thought I had a defective piece first and got it replaced but the story is the same !! For the price tag I think it is criminal !! It is like the enamel coating is non existent !

I got this pan instead of Tefal one and I was so excited as I tough this would be a great quality. I tried the pan last night and the pancakes are sticking to the pan, actually glued to. I threw all the packages away as I had no doubts that this would be a great quality pan, so I can’t even return it.

Massive pan, due to it some may have issue with heat distribution on induction jobs without big zones. This pan is really heavy in comparison to my le creuset dutch oven I would say twice as heavy!!!Nothing stick at all once you get to know it.Killer for me is wooden handle, when you wash it, water goes underneath and corrode wood. Had this pan since November I was expecting something more….
