Very happy with purchase, worked straight out of the box. You literally plug it in and you will find the wifi icon disappears and you get an icon that looks like two brackets to indicate a wired connection.I am using this with a Nexus 7 (2013) tablet, my only issue is i couldn't charge at the same time so i paired this with KIMILAR Micro Usb Host OTG Cable W/ Usb Power For Samsung Nexus 7 Galaxy S2/S3/S4,Galaxy Nexus, Samsung I9100 I9300 I9220 I9250 ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00V9XS4V4/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1), just to note it may seem like this cable doesn't work as it doesn't show charging icon but i think this is a glitch as it definitely charges my tablet at the same time.

I like the long cable with micro-USB and USB A plugs, and noticeable lower power consumption than an old USB2 Ethernet adapter I have.I'm using it with a Samsung SM-T800 and a old Motorola Moto G 1, both running LineageOS (now discontinued support), via the micro USB plug, and could use it on PCs too, via the USB A plug.I prefer using wired Ethernet because it is generally a lot faster and more reliable than WiFi, which is strong pulsed microwaves, so not harmless, despite industry and state lies.Sadly only some Android devices support OTG and OTG Ethernet, which is a pity e.g. my newer Likebook-T80D annoyingly doesn't OTG.

Bought this because i could not geta wirless single in my bedroom, so this was my last option for using my Asus Zenpad 10 via wired ethernet cabel, and it worked 100%, the Zenpad 10 found it automatically and i was away happily surfing in my bed, great stuff.So just to confirm, this device works perfectly with the Asus Zenpad 10.

Worked ok for a couple of days, then found my firestick would crash and struggle to load the home page, swapped cable back to original and no problem! Buy the amazon Ethernet adapter first, like I should’ve done!

works great, no set up required. Just turn off fire stick, connect leads and turn back on.

I ordered the wrong cable. I should have ordered the chromecast (see link on youtube provided by 'Ecoballer', as I bought it to connect an Amazon Fire stick to an Ethernet cable to provide a wired connection to the internet. As it is, the power cable on this one is extremely short, and not designed for this purpose. My mistake.

I looked all over the internet including Samsung's own website and manual to see if this would work with Samsung Galaxy Tab A 9.7 and found nothing so this was a bit of a gamble in ordering it.Luckily it works perfectly you just plug and play for an Ethernet connection to your tablet.Disable Wi-Fi first and you're good to go.Highly recommended.
