Johnstone's Quick Dry Satin

I recently used Johnstone’s Wood & Metal Satin Finish paint on a few radiators and some wooden furniture, and I’m very impressed. The brilliant white colour is crisp and even, giving a professional-looking finish. The non-drip formula makes application smooth and stress-free, and it dries quickly in 1–2 hours, which is perfect when working on multiple pieces. I also appreciate the low odour, making it much more pleasant than other paints I’ve used in the past. Coverage is excellent — about 8m² per litre — and the water-based formula makes clean-up easy. Overall, it’s a high-quality paint that delivers great results with minimal hassle. I’ll definitely be using it for future projects. Verdict: 5/5 — Easy to apply, quick drying, low odour, and fantastic coverage. Perfect for radiators, wood, and metal.

This paint is ridiculously good , stays white forever and has this lovely satin finish that's just perfect for my living room. Doesn't get yellow over time which is a massive plus in my books, it still looks brand new after all these months. I was a bit skeptical at first but trust me, it's worth every penny!

Bought two 2.5 ltrs as I had a lot of doors , top quality finish with two coats and drying quickly for my Spaniel to save a coat lol . Easy to brush on and good consistency and great coverage ideal for the busy areas where my dog runs riot ! Good buy well worth the money

This is an excellent paint, covers very well and leaves a great finish, I did have to use a few coats on the radiator but skirting boards and windowsill only needed one coat. Would highly recommend.

I used this to paint my staircase before getting a runner fitted. The runner ended up being delayed for a few weeks, so I had to use the stairs fully bare during that time, and the paint held up really well. No chips or scuffs, even with daily use. It only needed two coats for full coverage, and the white is nice and bright. The paint went on smoothly, didn’t drip, and dried quickly which made the whole job a lot easier. It’s also low odour which I really appreciated, especially using it indoors. Even after a few weeks of heavy use, it still looked fresh and was easy to clean. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a tough but easy-to-use paint for wood or metal.

This paint is very difficult and messy to work with. Smears and it does drip also. Doesn't leave a nice finish. Feels like an under coat. Did the window sills and things are stinking to it after and making marks.

This paint is great, it is easy to use, came just as described and the colour and coverage is amazing! although it does look small it covered my whole wooden table

Mi è piaciuto molto, diluibile con l’acqua, l’ho usato per ripitturare dei mobili in legno e funziona bene, non me ne intendo di vernici però secondo me ha una buona copertura e asciugatura

Great for metal and wood! Drys quickly and lovely colour. I got alot of painting done from just this small pot.

Plus, it will be easily removed if you take out the painting tape
