Not being a part of their food routine was one of the hardest decisions for both my cats and I as it is one of the few bonding times we have in a day due to me working so much, but there were 3 things I wanted from this. 1) If I were to get the promotion I've been trying for, I would have to go in at different times, resulting in their feedings being inconsistent, and needed a way to have peace of mind they were being fed. 2) to be able to be gone for long periods of time when needed without worry, as having animals has made me homebound for years due to not being able to trust pet-sitters after bad experiences with them in the past. And 3) the extra sleep could be lifechanging for me.I have finally been able to take up friend's offers to go do cool things that are away from home for extended periods of time, and the extra sleep has changed my life indeed. In fact, I now have the energy to play with my cats everyday instead of sparingly, so I think it's a win for them in the long run.While this was on the cheaper side, they still take up electricity when plugged in so I was adamant about getting the best use out of one. The only problem with these dual feeders is that not everyone has well mannered cats at lunchtime, especially if they come from very different backgrounds. So excuse the mess in the picture I was quite fed up at this point, it took me several hours per day to get this to work for the lower level eating cat as the food kept getting stuck before entering the tube, but I finally fixed it. I will create a more permanent solution later to get the food to go into the piping.The feeder spits in just the right amount I had going for them. Level one is 5-7 grams, and for higher levels, it just repeats that instead of letting it fall continuously. So it's easy to measure it out in the levels per feedings.Note that you are NOT supposed to have the feeder sitting in a position like this! I had to put extra nonslip on the bottom and even then I have tied it both to the wall and shelf just for extra safety (not seen in picture). My feeding setup is not at all pretty, but it's practical for their specific needs and that's what matters.The feeder has very few functions, it feeds, and it can record your voice for mealtime (allegedly). And that's where the problem lies. The instructions are great, very visual, the only problem is that they don't tell you how to get the voice record thing to work. Which would be a real help in my case as my cats STILL want my part in the vocal and physical part of the routine. Even when they hear it release, they are confused, expecting me to sing/talk/pet them. They will even stand near their bowls but be unaware there is food until I made them aware it is there already. They are getting the hang of it without me now, but still are confused sometimes. I'd like to get the voice thing to work to help with that, as my speaking/singing to them was a big part of mealtimes. My other gripe is the military time clock for scheduling feedings, as an American it took me a couple days to properly sync their mealtimes up as they were before. Small gripe, but I get why it's done that way.

I love that I can use one compartment for the cat food and one for her treats. It has helped me keep her on a schedule and away from begging. It doesn’t make much noise, but when the food hits the bowl the cat comes running. It works very well, was easy to put together and it’s easy to take apart for cleaning. The only issue with cleaning it was that it needs to be empty or the contents spill everywhere. The app allows you to make adjustments to the quantity and schedule as needed.

Works well for my cats, love being able to set many different feeding times, has back up battery function, easy to clean, clear window to see food level, recorded a message of my voice calling them to eatWish I could do a little smaller of a portion, single serving is still just a little too muchDoes not come with a wall adapter so you have to buy one or repurpose one you have....which is silly for this machine

I spent a lot of time comparing the mid-priced automatic feeders available on Amazon and this is the one that I finally settled on. It seems like you get what you pay for and I am hella broke, but really needed something to help me with feeding my own cat while operating a pet care business and traveling without dumping my pet's needs on my roommates or hiring someone of my own to drop in and feed.My priorities for a feeder were dual power sources, controllable portion sizes, multiple feedings (up to 6), functionality of build, removable feeding tray for easy wash, functionality of app, and a securely fastening lid. Every feeder had a few negative reviews and it seems statistical that a malfunction could occur considering the moving parts and reliance on wifi so it was really a game of chance. I do not utilize the voice feature because my cat couldn't care less about a feeding time and grazes all day (hence the desire for multiple smaller-portioned feedings).The feeder was easy to wash, physically set up, and get connected to the wifi. The app was also easy to figure out and I had feedings scheduled within minutes of it being connected to my wifi. I checked the bag of cat food to figure out how many grams a day my cat should be eating and then I measured out 1 feeding portion a few times to check the consistency of the feeder. It came out at 8-9g every time and my cat needs up to 110g a day of her current food, so I broke that down into 14 portions and scheduled them across 5 feeding times to start. She doesn't like when her bowl is empty so I may adjust this, but so far it seems to be working out well. I haven't had any problems with it dispensing food (mechanical or technical) THAT I'M AWARE OF. I wish it had a camera, but that's a feature for a higher price point. I will be monitoring the feeder over the next few days to make sure the schedule works for my cat and that it operates without fail. I'll happily update my review after a few months to see if it's still functioning at 100%.EDIT 11/13/23:My only complaint at the moment is that I can't figure out how to erase the accidental recording I made that plays every time I dispense food. I don't want to make any sound, but the only option seems to be to record over it. Hmm....4/12/24I've added food that has freeze dried pellets in it and it feeds through no problem! It continues to work without problems. Still can't figure out how to erase the noise...

Best automatic feeder I've ever bought!! My cat eats pretty large pellets (roughly 12-13mm in size) and I have tried other feeders that have gotten jammed. Unlike other brands I've tried in the past, if this feeder ever does jam, at least the app will notify you it got stuck so you can fix it asap. But so far, it hasn't gotten jammed at all!Not only that, but I love that I'm able to schedule up to 10 meal times for my cat. She eats her food quickly and always ends up going hungry throughout the day because she can't pace herself. With this feeder, I schedule 10 feedings throughout the day, dispensing the smallest portion size available, which is feeding option 1 (about 1 tablespoon). This allows me to feed her 5/8th cup of food slowly so that she doesn't consume it all at once and won't beg for more throughout the day.I don't even have to be home to control it! I can check the app from anywhere to see when her last feeding got dispensed, how much longer until the next feeding, and adjust the timing of her meals if I want to.Another great feature is I can control the volume of the voice recording I set up so it doesn't disturb anyone overnight. The voice recording is a great touch and my cat loves it! The playback audio is also very clear and easy to understand.The only small issue I have with the product is that I can't seem to figure out how to get the food storage compartment removed from the unit to clean it. The actual bowl that she eats out of is extremely easy to remove/clean, though.Overall, I am so satisfied with this product, and it should have more ratings than it does! 5/5 from me :)

Mi sa che sono la prima italiana a scrivere una recensione su questo prodotto. Parto col dire che ho acquistato questo articolo, dopo aver fatto il reso di un altro distributore di croccantini. L'altro distributore, di cui non citerò la marca, si trova tra le top 10 dei distributori e aveva un prezzo inferiore a questo della XTUOES. Ma questo della XTUOES, vanta qualche opzione in più, come quella di poter registrare un messaggio vocale e la postazione per la bustina che conserva meglio i croccantini. In realtà non mi interessava la funzione di poter registrare un messaggio vocale, per questo motivo, inizialmente mi aveva convinta l'idea del primo distributore (che ho poi reso), perché cercavo semplicemente un erogatore di croccantini che potesse essere programmato e controllato da un app, ma soprattutto che fosse affidabile. Essendo quel prodotto tra le top 10 e avendo delle buone recensioni, lo acquistai pensando fosse affidabile. Purtroppo si inceppava continuamente e non essendo affidabile, non mi era utile per il mio scopo. Tant'è che ho fatto il reso. Guardando nuovamente fra le top 10 per cercare un sostituito a quello che avevo reso, c'era sempre qualcosa che non mi convinceva tra quelli elencati. Ad un certo punto mi imbatto nel distributore della XTUOES, che invece non si trova tra le top 10 ed è addirittura difficile da trovare su Google. Non so perché, forse perché non ha le istruzioni in italiano e quindi non si trova sulle pagine italiane, non saprei.Cosa mi ha convinta di xtuoes pur costando una ventina di euro in più rispetto a quello che avevo reso? Anche perché ripeto che la funzione vocale non era di mio interesse e di conseguenza non mi interessava spendere dei soldi in più per avere questa funzione. Mi ha convinta innanzitutto il sistema a elica antintasamento, il fatto che la ciotola fosse in acciaio inox e staccabile, quindi igienica è facile da pulire. Inoltre anche il serbatoio può essere staccato dalla parte meccanica ed essere pulito facilmente. Il cavo USB comodissimo per me, perché mi ha consentito di inserire tutti gli altri dispositivi in un unico alimentatore USB evitando mille prese e fili o doppie prese. Il fatto che fosse compatibile con l'app "Smart life" che mi ha permesso di non dover installare una ulteriore app sul mio telefono. Altra cosa interessante il filo di alimentazione può essere nascosto nel vano batterie, che si apre senza dover svitare viti, ma comunque rimane solido e sicuro, a prova di zampate, anche perché sta alla base ed è inaccessibile per i nostri animali. La doppia alimentazione sia con cavo che con tre pile di tipo D. La chiusura del coperchio del serbatoio, anche questa a prova di sicurezza. Il design del prodotto, compatto, minimal ed elegante. Il serbatoio è bianco, ma si può controllare il livello delle crocchette da una fascia trasparente che rende visibile il contenuto. Quindi queste sono le caratteristiche che mi hanno convinta a spendere 20 euro in più, anche se non mi interessava la funzione di registrazione del messaggio vocale. Perché mi è sembrato un prodotto affidabile. Poi finalmente è arrivato a casa e devo dire che è ancora meglio di come me l'aspettavo. In confronto il distributore che avevo acquistato in precedenza sembra un giocattolo. Questo della XTUOES invece è resistente, rifinito, nonostante sia comunque leggero da trasportare, non ingombrante e con un bel design. Fino a ora non ha perso un colpo, le crocchette escono facilmente senza incepparsi, è silenzioso quando eroga il cibo e i comandi dall'app rispondono in maniera immediata. Anche la programmazione è molto flessibile, sia come orari che come giorni, sia per le quantità delle porzioni. Pulirlo è facilissimo e comodissimo. Il fatto che le istruzioni non siano in Italiano, non mi ha creato alcun problema, perché è così facile e intuitivo da utilizzare, che non c'è alcun bisogno di leggere le istruzioni. L'abbinamento viene fatto in automatico semplicemente con WiFi e Bluetooth. Si può bloccare l'erogazione manuale dei croccantini e alla fine ho utilizzato anche la funzione per registrare il messaggio vocale e l'audio è perfetto.

J'ai mis longtemps avant d'acheter cet appareil car c'est un budget quand même...Il y avait une jolie promotion et je me suis donc lancée... et bien je suis ravie...Très facile à utiliser avec une application facile à installer et rapide à prendre en main...C'était plutôt embêtant de nourrir ma petite chienne trop tôt ou trop tard lorsque nous sortions... c'est maintenant bien plus simple...J'ai programmé ses 2 repas quotidiens à heures fixes...L'appareil delivre des doses de 5 grammes avec un maximum de 20 doses donc 100 grammes max par délivrance... et là encore si besoin de plus... il suffirait de programmer plusieurs programmes d'affilés.Le grammage est plutôt précis...Je donne 20 gr par repas à ma petite chihuaha...J ai effectué plusieurs mesures est on est souvent à 22 grammes.... ce qui est très correct.Je n'ai plus qu'à penser à remplir le réservoir de croquettes... et là encore.... on a une belle capacité de 4 litres ...Ma petite chienne a vite compris le fonctionnement et dès qu'elle entend le mécanisme qui s'enclenche.. et bien elle se jette dessus... elle est gourmande... 😉Voilà mon retour.J'espère qu'il vous aidera dans votre décision d achat...De mon côté... vraiment contente.
