Excellent bit of kit
This product is great for the amateur photographer. When you compare the cost of, for example, a canon intervalometer at £129 to this at £15.43 this is a bargain. It works perfectly and feels like it would stand up to a fair bit of wear. It does not come with a battery so you will need to buy seperate. The instructions are good with a decent diagram covering how to set up, however I made a couple of mistakes on my first attempt so I'll describe how I got it to work.I put the camera on a tripod and set it to manual and plugged the timer in before turning the camera on. I then took some test shots to get the subject in focus (the remote shutter release is excellent for this). I then ensured the auto focus on the camera was set to 'off', this ensures that as things change the camera does not try to refocus. One thing to note is that the camera will need to be set to 'single shot' rather than continuous to prevent the camera taking multiple shots at each exposure. To begin editing the timer press the set button, delay will begin flashing,Delay - setting this timer will delay when the time lapse begins. In my attempt I set this to 10 seconds, this allows for me to move away from the camera and prevent any shake before it begins taking images.Long - This is the exposure time, so the time the camera will take to take the image. I set this to two secondsInterval - This is the time between each shot. For my example I set this to 10 seconds, meaning it will take one shot every 10 seconds. This gives more than enough time for the camera to take the shot and then save it to the card.N - This is the number of shots you require for your time lapse. You can work out how many you need based on your interval. There is the option to go to unlimited shots by going one higher than 399. This will take photographs continuously at the set interval until you are finished. The next option is to mute the beeping noise it will make at every exposure. Then you simply press the Timer Start/Stop and the delay counter will begin. My example was a sunset so I could look at exactly what time the sun set and work out how many exposures i would require until it had set. The device took the exact correct amount of images and worked perfectly. I placed these images into Lightroom and batch edited them to enhance them. Then I placed them in Premiere Pro as a sequence, ensuring that the final product is 24FPS or higher so it looked smooth.Im not a pro, so some of the above may be incorrect, but it worked for me!!

Works well, excellent value.
Can confirm this works with Canon EOS 100D.It would appear that the main unit uses a short adapter lead for the various types of remote port on different manufacturers, so even if it doesn't work with your camera, I would hope you could get the correct adapter cable.Just received this and very pleased so far. Works very well, and build quality appears good enough. It allows me to play around with time-lapse photograpy (although I haven't figured out how to post-process the stills into a movie yet), and a major bonus is that it easily allows me to hold the shutter open for an indefinite period for astronomy experiments. I'd previously fiddled around with the infra red remote with limited success.Instruction manual is pretty comprehensive - much better than most Chinese tech. manuals, although still suffers from some errors and translation problems.Overall very pleased with the functionality for the money - can't comment on durability yet.

Good enough product, awful manual
I choose this rating because the product does what it promises. For my purpose to test time-lapse photography it's the perfect choice since it's cheap. The price is the one I most appreciate, compared to the Canon equivalent its around 1/10:th of the price. Perhaps that product does more stuff but for my current need this is it.The manual however is very bad. It makes you second guess your own intuition where your intuition was right in the first place. An improved manual would definitely get a better rating. If I can find time I will write one of my own.Currently I would recommend this product to anyone that does not need a manual. There are four buttons and an arrow pad, how hard can it be, right. Some testings for half an hour and you're all set.The manual you can throw in the bin instantly, it's not worth the effort.

Works well but cable is delicate.
I have used this intervalometer extensively for 4 years of astrophotography. It still works flawlessly but the black outer sheath of insulation on the cable has detached from the strain release, revealing the two thin insulated wires. I have looped the cable back behind the body of the intervalometer and fixed it there with gaffer tape, but it is only a matter of time before one of the wires breaks. For the price, however, this is not a huge problem.

Affordable Remote With Professional Results
I was looking for a remote to work on TimeLapse Videos with my Canon 600d, I found the Ramozz Time Lapse Remote at a good affordable price for just getting into Time Lapse. Unfortunately the Remote took a while to arrive in the post (2 weeks to come), When the remote finally arrived it was packaged well with its own designed box showing the Romote being used. When using the Intervalometer it felt cheaply made, lightweight and plasticky and it looks as though the connector wire connected to the top of the Remote can be easily broken but nevertheless the Remote performed well on my Camera and have made professional looking videos for YouTube using it.

Good value bit of kit
I thought I'd like to try a bit of time lapse photography so I trawled the net and eventually came across this bit of kit. It arrived from the seller very quickly and on time so I hooked it up imediatly and gave it a run, it's so simple to set up and operate.I set it up looking out of the spare bedroom window watching the sunset and clouds....I took about 300 shots at 5 second intervals and then put them in to windows movie maker.....the result was very pleasing fo a first attempt video lasting about 15 seconds. The other great thing is you can use it as a normal shutter release or with time delay for self portrait even shutter lock for loooooooooong exposures....all in all a very good bit of kit for the money....I would recomend it if you want to have a go at time laps but don't want to spend a lot of money.
