I used this product as one of the main ingredients for a herbal homemade cream to combat psoriasis. For more than three weeks my sister had been suffering from a unusually persistent itchy psoriasis outbreak that had spread from her neck to her arms. All the herbal remedies that we normally made during her milder skin problems were not responding well enough, so as a last resort we followed a recipe that used a combination of Irish moss, a golden seal infusion, and an equal amount of vegetable glycerin.Literally after only three applications in a eight hour period we saw the redness on her skin and the red hot itchy bumps on her arms virtually disappear leaving behind only minor traces. Apart from that their was an immediate sense of relief from the uncomfortable itching that ended after only the first application. Even though we had used many different external and internal herbal formulas that normally worked, this time the itchy red bumps had managed to form a red uncomfortable sheet on the entire surface of her lower arms. This wonderful mixture completely took care of all these problems in a matter of days, leaving her skin smooth without a single scar. Even the usual dry psoriasis patches that worsened during these episodes responded beautifully to the mixture, and quickly softened until they too finally disappeared in one weeks time.It was an unreal experiences given how much a person can suffer from skin conditions like psoriasis. I know that petroleum jelly is often used as a base for many homemade topical herbal remedies, but the results I personally witnessed using the Irish moss instead is far better if not seem more healing for the skin in the long run, since petroleum jelly can some times encourage excessive dryness if repeatedly used. However, the sticky jelly solution that is created after the moss is heated in water makes a wonderful binding agent that gently nourishes the skin and naturally promotes the body to heal itself. Their are other formulas to experiment with depending on the severity of the problem, either way using the Irish moss as a binder would enhance the healing process.

This is my new favorite raw food ingredient. It has a very neutral flavor and ROCKS when it's used for thickening raw ingredients. So far I have added it to almond milk to make vanilla mousse with strawberries, to mangos to make a pudding and to coconut milk to make whipped topping.It comes dry and sandy, so I rinsed it WELL and soaked it over night. Then I chopped it and add the moss and the soaking water to the blender. I let blended moss set over night in the frig, it makes about 4-5 times what I started with. The resulting product was VERY firm and dense. I used this mixture in the recipes I created. A little goes a LONG way. One of the things I was concerned about was if citric fruits would cause the gel to break down as citruses soften and tenderize. I've left it mixed with the mango and strawberries up to 48 hours with no issues, nothing has lasted longer than this w/o being eaten :) It has opened a new and exciting way to create goodies! These are the reasons I love it my recipes.Irish it is one of the super foods as well. Irish moss is now thought to contain 15 of the 18 essential elements that make up the human body. I have not had enough time to tell you if I can see the health benefits listed for Irish Moss, but I already eat sea vegetable, algae, and wheat grass. Based on the difference they have make in my life I believe I will be able to tell a difference with this product as well.

Not knowing much about moss, of the three companies I am gone with, this seems far and away the best. Disappointed with the negativizing, and wish those with really negative opinions would be less hostile and more clear about the truth of the issues. It seems that most negative comments come from 2017, and since then things have looked up. Like with any product, be aware of the state of this world, which is the state competition in free markets. Some people do not respect each other, I feel like that is going on on this review board, so I wanted to help. If I receive something bad from this company, I will amend. Do not just listen to me, I am a noob. Even still, do not get blown away by people just making things hard. Most of those negative comments do not say anything enlightening.

Originally, I left a bad review but after taking the product and them giving me a full refund I have to edit my rating. And I will never edit any rating for the simple fact of a refund it helps getting my money back but my health is first and I won't stir people wrong on any review I make, I'd rather just not have a review at all. I wasn't happy with the look of the sea moss and I've order from you a few times and many other sites. Thats the main reason for my bad review it didn't seem like real sea moss. But after taking it I found 2 things to make me feel ok about it: 1. I had more energy as usual and 2. It got 2.5 to 3 times larger once I put it in water for 10 hours or so. I've had some sea moss barely double in size and I won't buy that kind of sea moss if it doesn't at least double in size.One last thing I'd like to add I made about 5 purchases to this company and so far its the best sea moss I've bought online so willing to continue buying it and continue my healing. Have felt so much better lately drinking this stuff...highly recommend....thanks!!!
