Dax Wax Red Wave and Groom 99g

I've use Dax for a very long time now because it is a reputable brand and they make quality hair pomades. This product is an excellent versatile grooming product. This is suitable for thick hair and helps you to style and manage and it is a good alternative to hair gel. You can use it to achieve twist and curly look if you have thick or afro hair. It is also suitable for short hair, I use it along with a wave cap to achieve a wavy look. It’s great because the Dax holds the style in place and will last the whole day. I also occasionally use the Dax wave and groom as a make shift moustache cream when I want to stylise it and it actually works just fine. Applying is easy but does require a bit of technique for best results. This is down to its thick and waxy consistency so you have to rub in your hand properly till it’s soften and becomes spreadable and then apply evenly on your hair. Just rubbing or messaging into your hair until any white patches disappears and then style your hair as desired. You can also use a towel if you put too much on your hair. Bear in mind this pomade is very thick and so doesn’t let you scalp breathe as much as other lighter creams. It's also more effort to wash out of your hair because of its thick waxy consistency, depending on the amount you used and your hair, it may take a few wash and rinses to completely get it out. Despite this it’s still one of the best on the market and I highly recommend it. Hope this helps.

Great product. Used it for almost 40 years.

Been using Dax for a long time now, I find it hard to find in the high street shops so to be able to purchase via Amazon is most useful and the prices tend to be reasonable. With Dax Wax you can style your hair how you want, it can be a bit difficult to remove in the shower or bath but if you get the Dax Shampoo this removes the wax nicely. My son pinches some of my Dax every now and then to help keep his hair in place if the weather is windy! Cheeky!

This product is fantastic for those who have wavy hair, short hair and strong whirls. You can pretty much use this and your hair will be fine in any types of weather or sports. Due to the creamy consistence, DAX Wave & Groom is the ideal to work even hard to manage or thick hair into a perfect quiff, making it a better choice than hair gel. Once applied, it lasts all day (even 2 days) without drying out and keeps your hair in place, yet flexible. Dave Wave & Groom is very firm hence you'll need a little practice to achieve the desired result at first. Only disadvantages I would say are: It can be VERY HARD TO get it out of your hair - as a result it is best to buy Dax Deep Cleansing Removing Shampoo to get rid of it fast. This shampoo created by Dax, has been specially formulated to get it out of your hair a lot easier than your standard shampoo. Another con is it can be quite greasy on the hair, all depending on the individual.

It's a bit hard to get out of your hair, I have found that shampoo on dry hair works best and then add water to build up a lather. The hair product works really well and gives your hair a nice shiny but non-grasy look. It even survived me getting soaked to the skin in a sudden rain storm. Once my hair had dried it looked just as good :)

Imagine candle wax, this is what this wax is like, it is very strong. I have used this for about 5 years now on my hair and I would use nothing else, I've not seen another product on the market which comes close to this, its perfect for the 'messed up outta bed look' that many of the kids today are rockin'. You literally only need a pea size amount and it'll hold your hair in any position. As its wax it is also water proof so perfect for the rainy British summer. Also one tub lasts about 4 months as you need so little.

Uso habitualmente pomadas con base de aceite como esta y en cuanto la probé se convirtió en mi favorita. Fijación fuerte, más que la Murray's y casi casi como la Reuzel rosa. Aplicación muy cómoda, es untuosa y maleable, no hace falta calentarla mucho. Larga duración de verdad, con muy poca cantidad la disfrutas unos 4 días SIN REAPLICAR y con lavados diarios. Si reaplicamos cada dos o tres días tenemos una perfecta pomada de batalla para el día a día. Otras, incluída la famosa Reuzel rosa (magnífica también), al día siguiente ya tienes que reaplicar un poco para mantener el peinado. El olor es agradable, clásico y discreto, en la línea de otros productos parecidos, aunque los hay mejores en este aspecto (Kingbrown). Nutre e hidrata el cabello, ya que lleva lanolina y bálsamo del Perú. Y por último lo mejor, el precio. Por 5 euros tienes una pomada que te va a durar una eternidad y con propiedades incluso superiores a otras que cuestan el triple.
