Mack's Original Ear Plugs (10 Pair) - Mint Green

I hadn't really used earplugs until recently - or even thought about using them really - but I moved into a fairly noisy flat and found myself getting woken up on a regular basis. After looking around (not really knowing what I wanted) I went for these and I have to say they do a great job. It can be a little tricky to master the method of putting them in properly. Basically they're made of foam and you roll them between your two fingers before inserting them into the ear, where they expand to block out the noise. The key is really to push them in a lot further than you think you need to. Once they're in, though, they're very comfortable. I have no trouble sleeping with them in and pretty much all the noise from outside my room is blocked out unless it's at absolutely ridiculous volumes. Despite this I still manage to hear my alarm in the morning. Overall I've found them very useful and I'd certainly recommend them to anyone with a similar problem.

I've been using this particular product for the last seven years, having been at my wit's end due to noisy neighbours who moved into my flat at that time and who thankfully moved out two years ago. I originally bought them from a UK website which happened to stock this US product and was fortunate in finding them, given that some other reviewers have said they could only get them in the US/Canada. Now that I have better neighbours, the soundproofing between our flats isn't that brilliant, so I use them occasionally at night just to avoid being disturbed by "foot falls" and creaking floor-boards above. They are comfortable, easy to insert, rarely pop out of the ears unless I don't insert them properly - and they do cut out a lot of the noise which certainly would wake me up anyway (and I also happen to be a light sleeper which doesn't help). They are also hygienic, as you throw them away after a few uses - and a pack of thirty lasts a long time! Amazon are selling this as a pack of ten which I have bought and am happy that they have started to stock this item. Highly recommended!

These are the best earplugs. The type of foam means they really fit to the ear snugly. I can't hear a thing. Other brands and types of plug either don't go in well, Or fall out when I roll over etc. These are super soft and comfy. Block sounds really well

these are the only ones I've tried, they are easy to use, blocks all sound out as far as I need, but I personally feel uncomfortable wearing these for long periods of time. I use these for studying

This works actually very well,better than I thought it would.Shutting out obnoxious neighbours and dampens foolish residents'stomping and whacking in silly hours.Comfortable to wear,you need to insert it in the right way.

These ear plugs are amazing, I have struggled for sleep for the past year due to snoring partner, thin windows and retired neighbours who cut the grass at 7am! I cannot reccomend these ear plugs more highly. I have tried various ear plugs, wax balls, ear muffs, you name it, nothing worked until I tried these. They are easy to insert, block out a significant level of noise and remain in all night. Other plugs I have tried pop out shortly after I fell asleep and I was awoken again. These come with a carry case/pot to put in your handbag, overnight bag etc, best product ever. Allows me to sleep any where, anytime.

I found these uncomfortable to wear and made my ears sore. I find them too long for my ears. Also I could still hear my husband snoring!

My boyfriend and I always use 'Hearoes' which we thought were the best, and they are very very good, but these are far outstanding! Thought we'd give them a try as they were such a good price, and Hearoes are expensive. These 'Macks' earplugs are amazing quality! I find they block out even more sound! Will be buying these from now on, even at full price. Estava usando por muito tempo aquele da 3M, laranja, que é muito bom inclusive, resolve o problema, por um acaso, não achei mais dele nas farmácias perto da minha casa, procurei por 2 semanas e nada, ai resolvi procurar outras alternativas e achei esse, o resultado foi que esse me agradou mais ainda, pensando no preço do par, ele é um pouco mais caro, mas por ser mais confortável, valeu a experiência. Percebi que o da 3M isola um pouco mais o ruído, coisa de uns 10% a mais, pois ele é um pouco maior e mais "rígido", esse aqui é um pouco mais flexível e por isso é bem mais confortável, mas é de se esperar que o isolamento caia um pouco, não existe milagre. No meu caso, apesar de ser perceptível, não afetou no uso do dia a dia, uso para dormir pois moro de frente para uma avenida muito movimentada e em determinados horários passa muito Ônibus, tenho um sono leve, e nesses casos, só consigo dormir com esses abafadores. Recomendo.

Los había comprado anteriormente y nada que ver…vienen más delgados y pequeños, no bloquean el ruido y el material no es de buena calidad. Decepción :(

He usado todo tipo de tapones antes: los de cera, los de goma, los de espuma amarilla... Sin duda estos son los mejores. Tienen una combinación de elasticidad y suavidad que los hacen ideales para que te de tiempo a estrujarlos y meterlos en el oído, y luego al expandirse se notan mucho más suaves y agradables que los de espuma. Yo creo que cada par de tapones se pueden re-usar unas cuantas veces (de 5 a 10) si se limpian adecuadamente (con papel higiénico más que con agua).

It doesn't the job but can cause skin irritation/skin eruption because of pressure. Since the foam would be expanding to fit the ear canal, it applies pressure on the skin. If you pull it, the skin might get erupted!! So, while plugging and removing be gentle. It also looks big when worn. Otherwise good job in blocking noise...
