Works great! The cable is a decent length and is of high quality. The cable itself enhances the colour output and resolution of the Xbox console. If you have an NTSC console or a modified PAL console you will be able to play some games in 720p, but unfortunatley normal PAL consoles still output in 480p or 576i (From my own observations). This is the fault of Microsoft, not the cable. Would recommend if you have a YPbPr input on your TV.

Better quality video than standard cable for xbox. The cable is slightly shorter, so I had to move everything.

Well you get what you pay for. I needed one to test a few Xbox consoles and was intrigued to see what the wires were like inside. It’s cheap for a reason., the wires are very thin and they’re using 1 wire for all the grounds on every single plug. More than likely to keep costs down. I knew I would be keeping it after testing the cable & seeing it was working. The colours on the tv are definitely washed out as others have pointed out. But you see why when you look at the inside of the connector. One single black wire which takes the full load of the ground, they’ve then put a jumper wire between the black and another pad which is the ground of the audio. So if you really want crisp ‘high def’ I’d suggest paying extra for a better quality cable or even getting the MakeMhz hdmi mod.

I already have some genuine Microsoft Advances AV cables but needed some extra ones for everyday use. The quality of the cable is excellent for the price. Some of these cheaper cables can suffer with poor screening resulting in causing interference/lines on the screen but these cables seem well screened and the picture quality is perfect. One other thin I didn't mention is that the cable is a decent length and the connectors are a nice tight fit. If you don't need optical out then these are great budget cables.

I bought this but am returning it and will buy a more expensive component cable instead. It is functional and gives a picture, but in my personal opinion the quality of the image is mediocre. Using a more expensive rgb scart cable I was able to get deep blacks. Using the component cable the blacks had a haziness and looked more like grey. Compare the two images. Still, if you're on a budget it may be acceptable to you. Not a bad cable but you get what you pay for.

Pleasantly surprised by picture quality, no issues at all and glad I didn’t spend 5 times as much on the official cable. Recommended.

Does improve image quality from composite but non cable is not shielded meaning a lot of shimmer on screen and image can look fuzzy. I'd recommend using the official MS AV Pack

Despite many bad things said online about inexpensive console/component cable adapters, I am quite happy with this one. Picture quality is fine, and component is such an improvement over composite with modern screen resolutions. No evidence of ghosting or other weird screen artifacts, picture looks great to me. The wires are thin and don't look very durable, but it's not 2004 anymore, I'm not unplugging my Xbox from my TV every day to throw in a backpack to take over to my friend's house. If you're going to plug the cable in once and leave it in your entertainment center, this adapter works just fine. If you're going to be unplugging it a lot and move it around, I have doubts about it's long-term durability, go source an original cable.
