Musiclily 3 Way Short Straight Toggle Switch Pickup Selector for Les Paul LP Style Electric Guitar, Cream Tip

I ordered this switch to put in my Bass as I was shielding and upgrading the electrical parts. TBH I changed my mind as the components I bought were high quality so instead I bought a Switchcraft switch (for many times the cost of this) and installed that instead. I noticed that the s/c was nowhere as sturdy as this but just assumed it would do a great job. Anyway the switch worked for each pickup but with both pickups selected only the bridge pickup worked. The switch can be waggled as there is a lot of play and you hear half a second of both pickups. This switch is far more sturdy and watching it in action there is a positive connection and disconnection when operated and in both pickups selected there’s a very good connection to both connections. Testing on the meter (which I sadly didn’t do on the S/C) all connections are solid. Also the switch action is very positive with no play. I wished I’d have stuck with my original plan, now I have to rewire and resolder. Unfortunately I didn’t buy the switch craft switch on here as I would have given it a scathing review. This is Musiclily switch just proves that expensive is not better and I’ll always buy Musiclily in future. Very happy with this purchase, not so with the world leading switch manufacturers effort.

Much more solid and positive action than the Epiphone original 3 way switch in an Epiphone SG Muse. Similar dimensions except the larger switch tip has a different thread - no big deal as I like the larger tip and music lily supply a black, white and cream switch tip plus a large pick too. Quality at a cheap price. Recommend for an Epiphone upgrade or even the big G!

It's a switch for a guitar and it goes click, oh and it's black. You get what you pay for (most of the time) so I doubt it'll last forever, however it seems nice and errr........... Click-y.

Musiclily are really stepping up their game, aren't they? I now have an impressive collection of plectrums to show for my loyalty to his brand... Now, musiclilly cover most price ranges from cheap and nasty to pro level and this switch is at their upper end. It has that reassuring/satisfying "click" when used and felt as durable as any other high end switch. Everything I have purchased from this brand has done it's job well. To the point now where I buy musiclily branded items with confidence, they have now earned my trust.

Replaced the toggle switch on a friend's SG knock-off. Switch feels solid enough and the tags are easy enough to solder on. It's supplied with both vintage cream and black switch covers which screw on securely. The only issue I has was that the length of the neck was slightly shorter than the switch I was replacing so I had to leave off one of the washers in order to get a decent thread on the nut. The guitarist is somewhat of a "percussive" player - I'm pretty sure I know how the old toggle met its fate. So far the replacement has survived 2 rehearsals and a pub gig. So far so good,..

This would seem an easy enough piece of equipment to install though, not wanting to muck around with electrics, I would get a professional to install it. Being a three way toggle switch it's a bit more complicated. Better safe than sorry. Happy playing.

My son dropped his Donner LP copy and broke the three way switch. I purchased this to replace it. Fit was perfect and very easy to solder into place. On the outside it looks the same as the original but is more positive when in use. The switch came with a cream and black plastic knob and also a pick. Overall very pleased with this purchase.

A quality made 3 way selector switch, I got mine in gold with a cream tip. The soldering points are nice and big for a good soldering connection. When the switch is installed there is a definite strong clicking sound when selecting between treble and rhythm pickups. I am really satisfied with this Product.

Looks good and does the job.
