Great Toddler Bike
Got this as a Christmas present for our 3.5 year old son (14" size). It's a perfect fit, with the seat all the way at the bottom. He'll be able to use it for at least a couple more years before he outgrows it.The bike was VERY easy to assemble - I (mom) did it myself in about 20 minutes. He's never ridden on a bike with training wheels before, and he got the hang of it within 10 minutes. Even figured out how to use both types of brakes (pedaling backwards or hand brake). This bike looks great and is a great value. I researched bikes for quite a while before deciding on this one. I am very happy with my purchase.

Mostly great.
It's pretty good!BUT: when (not if, when) the chain derails, you have to take the whole thing apart, and it will take a lot of tools, time, and profanity to fix and put it back together. And you'll do it wrong the first time.Don't install the included bell if you have an almost-four-year-old who will ding it in your face while you're putting it back together (and don't let her see it and ask for it). This is more parenting advice than it is a review of the bike.As for the bike: I love that the chain is shrouded and the kid doesn't contact a ton of grease. I love how adjustable it is. I wish the main tube telescoped so we could get a few more months of use out of it. As far as first bikes for a three-year-old go, though? This thing is pretty great.

Too many issues
I want to love this bike but it has too many issues. The pedal keeps falling off, it didn't come with a kick stand, and it has a click with each rotation (from the chain). I tried contacting the company but it's been a week with no reply. This is our second royalbaby bike. Her big sister has one from a few years ago. We love the older bike but this one has too many issues. I hope the company sees this review and fixes it.

Awesome bike!
This bike is absolutely adorable and so sturdy. I bought this for my 4yr old daughter. She loves it. I added a basket on the front so she may carry her baby dolls and all her important nature finds. The basket, which I also bought on Amazon, was the "Colorbasket 01624 Kids Front Handlebar Bike Basket" in Black. It fits perfect and looks great.

Too heavy and too hard to pedal
As some others have pointed out:- Too heavy - I haven't tried to weigh it, but it feels heavier than the listed weight- Too hard to pedal - The rear wheel doesn't seem to spin freely. Everything generally feels a little tight.- I just removed the training wheels so my son can try without them, and noticed that nuts and bolts holding the training wheels have already rusted quite a bit (this, within 6 months of buying)Overall, quality not as expected. I bought after reading all the good reviews, but have been disappointed.

Perfect bike
I bought this bike for my daughter, who just turned 6. It was love at first sight. This is a great kids' bike. First, it looks sharp - like a higher end road bike. The pink and the name "Buttons" say it's for a girl, but the look of the bike says it's still the real deal. Assembly was easy, though the font on the instruction sheet was way too small for my no longer young eyes. From opening the box to fully-assembled and ready to go took me about 20 minutes. I used my own tools, but the ones provided in the kit seemed adequate. As soon as my daughter saw it, she wanted to ride it. She's little for her age, only 3.5 feet tall. I bought the 16-inch wheel model, hoping she'd get years of use out of it. It's the tiniest bit big for her right now, she can only kinda get the balls of her feet on the ground when she's sitting with the seat as low as I can get it. But we took it out to the driveway, and she climbed on.And took off. The wide road tires give the little rider confidence, and the gear ratio provides a lot of oomph from pedaling. It's pretty speedy. When she went for her first turn, I was concerned about the supposed limited range of motion of the handlebars, but she made a pretty sharp turn (she was preoccupied with ringing the bell) with nary a problem. Now she wants to ride every day, and I'm going to have to buy a stupid bike, too, because it's hard to keep up with her now. Is that what this all is? A trick to get me to buy a more expensive bike for myself?Buttons is a great bike. I think they're going to be friends for a long time. And the bell is adorable.

So far so good.
Just got the bike today. Easy to assemble and did a bit of height adjustment on the brake shoe pad. It's a pretty lightweight bike compared to the 12" bike I bought from Wally 's store. Bike stand works really good. My 6 yrs old daughter was so excited to try it when she came home from school. Front brake is really useful and it didn't take her that long to get use to it. It is not a heavy bike. By the way, that was an 18” inch bike.

It looks nice, but only has the front brake and no training wheels
I liked the look and visual design of this bike, and it is nice and light. However, we ended up returning this bike because it did not come with training wheels as advertised, and it only came with the front brake, and no rear one.
