I’ve been really impressed with this jacket from MAGCOMSEN. It’s comfortable, durable, and most importantly, keeps me completely dry even in heavy rain. The material feels tough and well-made, and it’s clear a lot of thought went into the design. There are plenty of pockets, all easily accessible and secure, which is perfect for hiking or just day-to-day wear.The fit is great—roomy enough to layer underneath without feeling bulky, but still streamlined. I’ve worn it in a variety of conditions and it’s held up brilliantly every time. If you’re looking for a waterproof jacket that combines practicality, comfort, and solid build quality, this one is definitely worth it.

Debated this coat for a good while, with it being sat in my basket for weeks, then eventually ordered one evening. Coat arrived next day with Prime, still wasn't too sure when it arrived in the packet, having previously bedated the number of zips and pockets & front ziips. But tried it on & bar the underarm zips being cold against the skin as I had a T-Shirt on it was a great fit, across my back & shoulders, & length arm & body, plus it was surprising warm, once the zips warmed up.My 19 year old daughter & fashion guru really like the cost, and she's not shy in telling you if she doesn't like things or they don't suit you, so all good.Wore it out for the first time this last week, early winter day in November, cold & windy but I kept nice & warm, on the way back it started raining heavily, so put the hood up again a great fit with the nice touch of a peak, the hood is foldable away being secured in the coat by velcro flap which works well. It kept me lovely a dry with the rain just running off.Also like the touch of the velcro patches on the arms so you can add your own velcro patches & personalise your coat as you like. I went for a Black Union Jack on mine.So overall very glad I eventually went for the coat, don't be put off by the reasonable price it really is a great coat & great value for money.

Took this jacket for a long hiking/ climbing weekend in sub freezing conditions in Scotland for 3 days and 4 nights staying in bothys and hiking in the Cairngorms all day. I am 6ft2 with a 44 chest and the XL is just way to big. To the extent where I might not wear it again but having worn it already will not send it back as I do not think that is right. Adjustable sleeves and waist are great. The adjustable hood though in 40mph winds got blown off a lot. Most battered by snow and sleet so not sure on the waterproofness but otherwise was warm, cosy in extremes, a little heavy but otherwise a great jacket for the price. Check the size carefully before venturing off.

This jacket is of excellent quality and well worth the money great fit and you certainly feel that quality the hood covers the head fully where some don’t and it has a peak which to me is essential as it protects the face better in bad weather highly recommend this product. It also keeps the wind out.

Overall, it’s a nice jacket... just beware the sizes they're all over the shop... I wanted Large, Ordered XL but XXL Came... it’s a bit big but with other gear underneath I excepted it... I’ve wore it a few times hiking and its fine, keeps out the cold but I also wore it going up a mountain where I got caught in a heavy down pour on the summit... it was the layers underneath that saved me... the jacket was soaked through when I got down... what I would say is its ideal for Hikes in medium weather but if the rain comes down anyway heavy it’s not up to the task... for the money 3/5 stars… would I buy it again No, but will continue to use the one I have for now.

Very good jacket

I've just spent 2 months trying to find a new winter coat/jacket and had almost given up, after numerous purchases and returns. Then I saw this jacket and the reviews looked too good to be true, especially for something that costs just £53. Well, having now bought one, I can categorically confirm this jacket is too good to be true. It's warm, comfortable, a great fit, got loads of pockets, the hood velcros back to the rear of the jacket (so not blowing in your face when doing windy work, bending over etc), it's completely wind proof and puts all other so-called 'waterproof' claims to shame. This jacket is beyond waterproof and is also slightly longer at the back, so you don't get a wet backside when bent down/over working. AND MAGCOMSEN also sell matching trousers! My best purchase in a long time. Trousers next and the Mountain Fleece Parka too (why not, considering how much I have saved).
