This is a beautiful addition to my kitchen! Fast shipping, item better than described and affordable. The instructions from the floor to where the bar goes was off but other than that it was fairly easy to put together. It opens and slides well, I like the parts that go on top of the door to keep it from jumping off the rail. It's light Weight and perfect fit. The build quality is beautiful, the wood smells so good and was easy to put together. Very pleased with this door.

Great quality

These are very easy to assemble and I thought the instructions were sufficient, however there was room for improvement. Some things worth noting: I found the screws the doors came with very difficult to drive to a sufficient depth for two reasons. No bit for doing so was provided and no instruction for how deep they needed to be adequately seated was provided, either. This made driving the screws more difficult than necessary and I've noticed that another person commenting here clearly did not know they had not driven the screws deep enough as once hung her doors separated at the seams between the slats. Her review helped me avoid her mistake and purchasing different screws that were self-tapping and included a suitable bit both as to head type and length made installing the screws with my electric drill a breeze.

Assembly was pretty straight forward. Following the directions was not difficult. We stained and top coated with matte polyacrylic before assembly, per instructions. We did not use the bottom guide that came with it because I did not want to drill through my vinyl tile into my concrete foundation. I got the wall mounted bottom roller suggested by Amazon. Worked great! Issues were few, but significant enough. The rail mounting lag screws were not long enough by at least an inch. The lag anchors that came were also insufficient to the task. I recommend toggle bolt anchors and 4 inch lag bolts, as well as 5 inch lag screws for mounting to the studs. The small screws for the diagonal slats were barely sufficient even when countersunk. Issues aside, the door looks good and slides smooth and quiet.

Great quality, easy installation

I have bought 5 barn doors from this company. 4 individual doors and one set of double doors. They are all beautiful! They arrived on time and we're packaged nicely. We had a slight bend in one of the roller sets and thre company shipped out a replacement right away! They are super easy to put together especially since the door parts are all labeled. The only thing that was odd was that some of the handles were different and one set of the decorative X or K designs was slightly wider than the others (it's really no big deal since the doors are not next to each other). Other than that, they are great! They glide smoothly across the top bar and are really quiet. We did have to buy latches for the inside to lock the doors.

Easy assembly and install. We chose to paint after assembly and I would recommend painting before assembly if you choose to paint. Very nice product!

This door was a great buy. I get a lot of compliments on it and assembly and install was easy. I stained mine and it took stain beautifully (I am by no means a staining expert.) I want to get another one for elsewhere in the house and will go with this brand/style again without hesitation. The tracks are heavy-duty metal and the whole thing is very solidly built. Very happy.
