Can a tool for doing one of the most mind numbingly boring household chores be called impressive. Read the other reviews and decided to buy this product rather than a well known household named similar iron. Mentioned getting the ironing done faster!!!!! Glad I did, the reviews on the other one were poor. It works really well. 3 people have used it and all say it is faster and does a great job. I'm not allowed near it in case it breaks. Irons have a habit of breaking when I use them. So, it was delivered quickly in well protected package opened it up and fairly basic instructions but clear enough to be able to quickly use. I have been told by an ironing expert that it does not leave that shine on black clothes that some irons do. So 5 stars for a great( I am told) product. Have to agree with the person about the plug though, it's not difficult to fit a plug that will work on either GB or European plugs. Hint, check the adapter you use is rated at 13amps or you will blow a fuse and who would be stupid enough to do that!!!!!!!!. You can get 13amp 2 pin adapters quite cheap, although not on amazon as the postage charges now make them silly prices.You can of course cut of the original plug and put a GB 3 pin plug on as someone suggested and that is what I was going to do. But the 2 pin adapter seems OK so I will leave it for now. If you want a new iron of this type it's well worth a look, I know, I've been told by experts, they should be, I know how much I pay them to do the ironing................

I CHOSE THIS STEAM SPEED IRON AFTER READING REVIEWS AND THOUGHT I'D TRY IT . I HAVE HAD OTHER STEAM GENERATOR IRONS IN THE PAST AND HAVE USED ONE FOR ABOUT 10 YEARS NOW, I HAD A LITTLE TROUBLE WITH THE FIRST ONE SENT AS IT REFUSED TO STEAM AFTER THE FIRST USE, BUT HAD NO TROUBLE SENDING IT BACK AND RECEIVED A REPLACEMENT WITHIN A FEW DAYS . I AM AT THE PRESENT TIME MORE THAN SATISFIED WITH IT AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. IT IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE OF ALL THE IRONS I HAVE PURCHASED BUT I THINK IT IS BY FAR THE BEST. IT IS STURDY BUT VERY EFFICIENT ALTHOUGH THE WEIGHT TAKES A BIT OF GETTING USED TO AFTER USING A LIGHTER ONE , BUT I LOVE IT.

I am delighted with this iron and half the price of some steam irons I have used the only difference is the lead is wrapped round the base of this iron while others have a roll up system into the base the flex has no place to be put while other irons the flex goes round where we have to put the lead but if you don't mind this I would have no problem selling this to my friends

I did a lot of research before purchasing this product. Initially I wanted to go with a well known, tried and tested brand, however I took faith in the small handful of reviewers comments and I'm so pleased I did. There is a lot of power in the iron and as my first ever steam generated iron it made no sense in me spending 3 times more on a product that wouldn't necessarily be as good as this one. I now found it a pleasure and not a chore to iron my garments, and also love the fact that I can steam iron clothes on their hangers. As a tip, purchase an iron board to complement your steam generated iron and you will not be disappointed with either.

Great value ... This iron really cuts ironing time with a great steam shot and it works on linen and jeans as well. I was a sceptic about the benefits of steam irons, but as this was such a great price, only a little more expensive than the standard iron I was planning to buy, I thought nothing to lose ... will never go back to an ordinary iron again. The noise of the steam motor is slightly alarming when you first turn it on, but once the iron heats up this quietens to a gentle hiss / hum when you apply the steam. Highly recommended.

Solid steam iron. Handy carry handle. Good price for product. Does what it says it will do. Not sure of the water filter, never had a steam iron that used one before as we have a water softener, so will update when filter runs out. Hopeful will not be necessary to replace!

I have been used to a Bosch steam generator but melted it the other day!I reluctantly bought the Klarstein because if price and sulked with my husband for not letting me have another Bosch. However, I was really pleasantly surprised with my wonderful new iron! It is very efficient and I love it!If I was to gripe about anything, it would be the weight of the iron as ros quite heavy and it doesn't have a cord today for the iron flex. I'm just being picky there though. Overall, it s a great iron for the money!
