Just not good enough
The instructions are ridiculous. No quantity list of what you need, no sizing on the instructions so you know if using the right nuts or not and no straightforward step by step guide. Just a few sketches of what it should look like and 70% guess work. The closing bars had nothing at all to go by! Getting 4 bikes on is tricky and the locking nut is so dodgy, tight and badly threaded that, having read someone elses review that it locked and they had to have it removed, I've decided I can't run the risk of using this. It's an absolutely b888 ache to get the damn thing on the tow bar in the first place, and the ratchet is so fidly, that by the time I get it on the car to go out it'll be time to come back home. Would rather pay the extra and have piece of mind.

Check the electric pin fits your towbar first
Actual tack great. Takes a lot of time to put it together. After putting it together The electric pin didn't fit our towbar connection, so check that first. My husband has been able to change the pins so no major problem.

Instructions drawn by a 3 year old! But product seems solid enough.
Product itself seems solid enough and I am pleased with it now that I have it built but I reckon it took me about 2.5 hours to build and I consider myself above proficient at flat packed items having built many over the years. Why can't manufacturers spend an extra £1 on better readable instructions and labelling of the parts themselves - consumers would pay it. I had to call in my dad (who is an absolute expert) for second opinions and between us we were able to puzzle it out.If you want an idea the instructions were more like the picture you get for a jigsaw puzzle and you then need to work it out from there!! Only buy this if you are willing and able to invest in the build phase. If you are I think that it seems solid and good value.

better instructions with clearer diagrams would help as would correct nuts and bolt ratio. perfect for 4 kids bikes but dont think i would try it with 4 adult bikes (me and mates all have extra large bike frames due to were size, all 6' plus) would maybe take 4 standard adult bikes

Do not buy
Used about a dozen times and then the central nut seized in place when I was trying to take it off the car. This meant it was locked tight and partially off so I could not drive the car. Fortunately this happened at home and not when we were on holiday. I had to take the rack apart and then prize it off the tow bar. Contacted Peruzzo twice through their website with no response at all after 6 days, not even an acknowledgement. I have looked everywhere for a replacement nut and bolt, (M14 100mm in 8.8 High tensile steel, fully threaded fine, zinc plated) and cant find one anywhere, this took me hours and eventually I took a chance on a partially threaded nut as the closest I could find. The thread is about 1cm too short to grip the towbar. In all this has taken hours, cost me more money and I have a useless chunk of metal taking up space in my garage. If only peruzzo would have sent me a replacement bolt...
